Argh. Short version: got way behind on electric bill from not having enough to pay that and buy groceries at the same time for the past several months. Lost track of how long I'd let that situation go on. Found note on my door when I came back from doctor, saying they'd been here to turn off my power and next time would be for real. Don't have enough for the whole prevent-turn-off amount. Mom says she'll mail some, but still not enough. Billing office just gives me a menu for various automatic options, not a "beg a human for a few more days to try to straighten things out" option. Notice included phone numbers for govt. programs I should've called months ago; working up my nerve to call and find out how long that proces will take. Have a womdigious headache, and need to get migraine pills refilled. Stress not helping headache. Wheeeeeee.
