Damien was skilled at reading people from years of practice at his mother's knee, but he almost missed his sister's surprise. He did not press the issue, only allowed it to pass as a possible first step in the right direction.
"You are welcome, Morgaine. And yes, one and the same. The information is only forty-eight hours old, and you may yet have your chance to avenge your father. One of my Gotham contacts also said he ran afoul of a man wielding a longbow. Donald Kestrel, if you're of a mind to look him up." Damien tells her.
"Complete your contract, then take a bit of time to run down the lead. I ask only that you alert me if you leave Gotham and arrive at a new destination." he says.
"Oh, and that you remain safe and whole." he tells her.
