CHARACTER'S JOURNAL: crowley
DESIRED PB: Fred Delannoy
CHARACTER'S APPEARENCE:
"Crowley had dark hair and good cheekbones and he was wearing snakeskin shoes, or at least presumably he was wearing shoes, and he could do really weird things with his tongue. And, whenever he forgot himself, he had a tendency to hiss. He also didn't blink much." - quoted from the book.
Crowley always wears sunglasses to hide his yellow slitted-vertical pupils. He is well dressed His "true shape" has wings similar to that of an angel only not as well groomed. He was once, and once in a while can turn into a snake. And a lot of his actions are described as rather snake-like, and he even manages to hiss ever so often.
CHARACTER'S PERSONALITY:
Crowley can be mean, cunning, mischievous, greedy and selfish. He is a demon after all. But six-thousand years of living on earth tends to change you. Crowley has adapted to his life on earth. He's up to date on fashion, fads and technology. He's fascinated with the Earth and thinks that people are capable of inflicting more harm than hell could ever imagine (hey, hell had a pretty droll sense of imagination anyway). He's come to love the world, and the apocalypse seems daunting. He has his doubts about heaven and hell and he finds that they are more sides than anything else.
Crowley has a few notable interests. He's a fan of classic music; and yet all the cassettes he owns manages to turn into a best of queen tape. He's also a fan of modern gadgetry like his watch and his pen that can write underwater. But that's only a ghost of the amount of useless gadgets in his apartment. His apartment which is pretty much "everything that a flat should be: spacious, white, elegantly furnished, and with that designer unlived in look that only comes from not being lived in". But his prized gadget would be his 1926 good-conditioned Bentley which he drives at ninety miles an hour.
CHARACTER'S BACKGROUND:
Crowley isn't quite your conventional demon. He was the serpent that tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden; and after that little ordeal - he decide to become one of Hell's agents on earth. His mission is simple - temptation. He believes that giving people little annoyances will then give them the ability to do small annoyances of their own choosing. This lets him not work as hard. And unlike your usual demon who prefers swaying politicians and priests; he prefers making the masses miserable. His trademark inventions include: Value-Added Tax, Welsh Language Television and the M25.
He spends most of his time hanging out with the angel, Aziraphale - feeding the ducks at St. James Park, drinking and dining at the Ritz. They were in charge of dealing with the antichrist. And as neither of them found the boy truly evil or good - they decided to make a game of which side the boy would fall under. Aziraphale and Crowley then became the good and bad influences of the boy's life. Until they found out they had the wrong boy.
