UGH BECAUSE they are both equally miserable with most people, except each other, AND EVEN THOUGH ODETTE HAS LOST HER MIND CURRENTLY, they compliment each other to the point where they're actually likable. By other people. And they keep each other in check with reality, EVEN THOUGH RIGHT NOW ODETTE IS IN AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE, I think it's important that they like.... opened each other's eyes to how just one person can make you really happy despite their separate issues/let downs with other important people in their lives.
I ALSO THINK that they are the only people that can 100% deal with each other, and know how to do it without things getting out of hand (EXCEPT RECENTLY). And when I think of them I think of this adorable little family that has no fucking idea what they are doing half the time but they fake it until they make it. LOL Plus they're fierce/fresh to death/could probably verbally abuse the queen of england and make her apologize for it.
ALSO HE IS PRACTICALLY THE ONLY MALE THAT EVER GETS SMILEY ICONS FROM ODETTE.
AND YOU KNOW THEY HAVE REALLY GREAT SEX, SO. THAT'S A PRETTY GOOD REASON TOO.
OH OH AND I know he is the only person she has said 'I love you' to, so, she does not through words like that around lightly.
