Anna/Elijah
"Is this seat taken?"

Anna looked up from her latest Quibbler edition (ugh, the things Luna thought they should all read immediately 'for their safety'), glad it was covering her mouth or else Elijah Goldstein would have seen her creeping smile. Despite having already prepared her answer, she took a dramatic sigh as her eyes swept across the empty carriage.

"Yes. That one is," Anna responded, pointing to the seat across from her. "But this one isn't." A quick pat on the seat next to her gave him a clue, and she dropped the magazine into her lap. Of course she was going to make him sit next to her, if they were going to play this game.

Elijah took a deep breath as he made a pensive face, lingering exactly the in between space of still being outside but definitely almost committed to stepping into it. After a few seconds, it jolted in place, sending him over the line to definitely being in the carriage. Anna pulled her lips back to contain her laughter.

"Only because its getting anxious," he commented, face flushed and eyebrows high as he sat down. Elijah reached for her hand, only for her to pull it away quickly.

"Yes, it had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that you'd be alone on a carriage ride with your girlfriend," Anna smiled sweetly up at him as she spoke, enjoying his confused face. Elijah's perplexed look dropped, however, once she smoothly mounted herself into his lap, drove her hands right to his hair and smacked her lips onto his.

Please. They were not going to spend the next five minutes doing cutesy things like "holding hands" or "talking." Those were strictly public things. Which was not where they were right now.
