I've missed this meme
Here's how it happens. You give me a couple, any couple (so long as I've played one of the characters) and I'll write a drabble around 100 words about them in reply to your comment. This can be ANY couple (anything.. shippiness or cuteness or whatever), and it can have been a game-canon couple, or something completely off-the-wall. I do back-history, I do future, and I do AU crack. If you want a particular theme or rating, let me know. The ratings will be anywhere from G to uh, well I suppose NC-17 but I dunno if I can get that in 100ish words.

/ = Shippyness and "and" means ordinary interaction

Matilda really did enjoy taking her baby out and around the town. Or Diagon Alley, whatever. People often cooed and aww'd and she was allowed to be honestly pleased with the attention Johnathan received. Because, really. She did make him, after all. So it took her absolutely one second to decide that she and the baby would sit down with Emmet and Marcus after running into them outside of the ice cream parlour. There was a lot of traffic there, which meant more people to gawk and awe at the beautiful baby bouncing on her knee.

"Girls are easy, Emmet, there's no need to worry," she said with a flick of her wrist. The man across from her scoffed, and Marcus dug his spoon deeper into the bowl of ice cream.

"The only girls I've ever really known are you, Mackenzie, and Alecto, and really--the odds of her turning out like----you are rather slim."

Matilda's eyebrows rose, knowing that it wasn't his original response, but she didn't get to respond as John exited the ice cream parlour, looking ridiculously sour. It was certainly not her fault that Johnathan needed to have his first ever ice cream cone right this instant. He stopped beside their table, holding out the cone with a stiff arm, and with Matilda's not so subtle nod toward Emmet, John turned and let out a hmph, which was a clear indication to Matilda that the visit was cut short.

"Well! I'll see you, Emmet, we're going to go find a bigger table.."

Gabriel and Cordie

This was---overwhelming. Accepting the internship to the Daily Prophet had been the easy part, but--learning to deal with the quick pace and the hustle--the bustle! Gabriel wasn't sure if he could handle it. First his editor wanted him to go over four articles for him, grammar and spell check, rewrite, check sources, and make sure the bagel breakfast was ready at 7:00am sharp every other day, unless it ended in a '5'.

And that didn't include actually trying to get your own stories, or even write them down. That proved rather difficult when you didn't have a desk.

But this morning, this morning. Well. Gabriel had handed in his first article, straight onto the chief's desk, hopefully to be printed in tomorrow's paper. He should be ecstatic, elated, even, but Gabriel found himself in the broom closet right outside the break room, breathing into a paper bag as he attempted to stop the panic attack he'd given himself just thinking at the chief laughing and crumpling up the parchment and telling him he had to go home and join his father's antiquing club and that he was a horrible writer and should never pick up a quill again---

"Boy Intern!"

Gabriel blinked as he was suddenly blinded by the light brought into the closet by the opening of its door. When he finally gained focus, he saw that it was the receptionist, Cordelia--Cordie. He looked up from his nearly fetal position on the ground, absolutely horrified that he'd been caught in such a state. Gabriel scrambled to his feet, brushing down his robes and looking for some sort of excuse for his being there.

"Er."

"There's cupcakes and cookies in the break room," she said, bouncing up on her toes. "You should go get some! I mean--your article is being printed tomorrow."

"It---cupcakes---really?" Gabriel managed to squeak, rushing forward, "How! How do you---you know?"

Cordie smiled sweetly, clapping her hands together before patting his shoulders and motioning for him to follow, "Gosh, Boy Intern, I'm not the Editor-in-Chief's secretary for the paperwork. I know how to get the inside scoop, too."
