I'm in a maternal mood?
Choose any of my characters, past or present. I will give you a name, PB (maybe XD), and five facts for their firstborn child, even (especially!) if the character doesn't/is unqualified to have children.

If you've already done it with one kid for a person, maybe do it with the couple's second child? (Or third or fourth or fifth depending on if you're a Weasley/Sloper)

Astoria Joanne Greengrass

1. She did not overhear her mother giggling to a friend that she was conceived back stage of a musical performance at the Astoria Theater in London. Nope. Never heard that. Ever.

2. Astoria's a lot quieter than her mum and sister, which she thinks is because...well, she's not sure. She's just quieter! Oh! It could be that mummy and Daphne talk so much that Astoria can't get a word in, but she doesn't mind. She's a good listener.

3. The Sorting Hat wondered about her for a good five minutes before sending her to Hufflepuff. Daphne was initially shocked, but, their father had been a hardworking Hufflepuff, and, well. It wasn't too far-fetched.

4. She's got dark hair like her mummy and daddy, and bright green eyes. Oh, it's really no wonder why Draco fell hard for her a few years after they'd graduated. Even if she was a Hufflepuff.

5. Astoria finds her cousins a bit strange. Well---Aunt Cecilia's children are fine, but she can't mention Uncle Nick's kids to them, which Astoria couldn't figure out for the longest. She often asked Aunt Cecilia why not, and all she got was hushed. But, as she grew up she figured it out, and still eagerly tries to mend the broken bonds of the family.

1. Did you really think they'd be able to not name their kid after a Beatles' song? Chase and Beau even managed to find a plastic silver hammer rattle for a 'welcome to the world' present.

2. By the time he reached Hogwarts, Max was praying that they'd create a new House just for him. His whole life he'd been hearing the argument of Slytherin vs. Ravenclaw and how he clearly showed signs of the other House and blah blah blah...so he ended up in Gryffindor. Max is pretty sure his parents ignored his owls home for a week or two because of it.

3. Thankfully, he did make the Gryffindor quidditch team, got prefect, and is the top candidate for Head Boy. Of course, his mother assured him that she would be very proud of him even if he didn't get all these titles, but Max knew that Sadie set off fireworks at the news.

4. Max ends up going into journalism, and started off writing at the Daily Prophet. But, he couldn't be contained to a desk, and moved over to the WWN, where he is a field reporter and reports the news from all over the British Isles, and is about to start doing international stories.

5. He can do the math. He was conceived right around the time Voldemort was defeated. Max has never brought it up with his parents, because his mother has always insisted that there was nothing strange about the timing, but his father likes to tell elaborate stories about the final battle at Hogwarts and how intense it was and---yeah, Max tunes him out when his mother starts blushing madly.

Talulah Danielle McLaggen

1. So, Cormac can play a bit of quidditch, but Talulah definitely inherited 95% of her father's talent. She just got signed to Puddlemere as a seeker (as if the franchise would have allowed her to go anywhere else) and will probably be starting by the end of the season.

2. Even though she's a tremendous threat on the field, Talulah is one of the girliest girls you could ever meet. Could you blame her? With Joy as her mother and a name like Talulah, there was no way she wouldn't be. First thing she wants to do after practice is paint her chipped fingernails, honestly. She's a publicists' dream, to be honest.

3. No, she doesn't fancy Ian Bell (the younger one), no, she's not planning on marrying him, and no their mothers will not be able to force them into a holy matrimony like they swear they did with Cormac and Katie. No. Actually, Talulah knows for a FACT that Katie's mum did not want Cormac and Katie to get together, but that's something she'll keep to herself.

5. The McLaggens have the most explosive fights in the history of family feuds. Everyone screaming at the top of their lungs over something that's irrelevant ten minutes later when dinner's on the table is usually the norm, and Talulah could not imagine another living environment. Why be quiet and boring when you could be loud and incredibly entertaining?

Patrick Ignatius Goldstein

1. When Patrick was born, his mother had intended on naming him Ignatius Patrick, which his dad had never really agreed on. Because. Ignatius was just odd, and while he knew Melinda wanted their son to be unique, naming the boy Ignatius would just be cruel. So, when Anthony was approached about the birth certificate, he gave them the name Patrick Ignatius---and blamed the slip up on the clerks. He managed to keep Melinda from blowing the person up by pointing out that the baby's initials were P.I.G., and that seemed to be unique enough for her.

2. He's very blond. And not just in hairstyle, Patrick is very blond in the sense that the obvious complete evades him. He's got a good sense of humor about it, but is still easily tricked and gullible.

3. His grandparents' rivalry has tamed, a bit. Or, at least, the Goldsteins and Bobbins manage to be quite friendly at family gatherings, which Patrick appreciates. Well--not that he knows there is a rivalry, but if he knew about it, he would be thankful for their attempts at being nice.

4. Patrick's a Hufflepuff, and loves it. He also loves bragging that his daddy was friends with Harry Potter and his daddy was in Dumbledore's Army too, and Professor Longbottom has deducted quite a few points because of Patrick's constant bragging.

5. He's excellent at Potions, which is great because of his Bobbin grandparents' business! Patrick hopes to run one of the shops one day, but if he doesn't? Mmm, maybe he'll be a healer like his other grandma! Or take pictures like Papa Goldstein! Or or or....he really has no idea what he wants to do, but it'll be great!
