GRADE POINT AVERAGE: Mostly straight A's with the occasional B thrown in. A C would be cause for serious depression. Dari spends a lot of time studying and is naturally very bright.

ACTIVITIES: Quodpot (regular team).
BLOOD STATUS: Pureblood. The Davison's come from a long line of pure wizards and witches for generations on both sides.
POLITICAL VIEWS: Liberal. Not purist. Dari has never understood why the rest of her family and many of her peers believe that one's blood makes them superior or inferior. She has learned to keep quiet about this opinion, however, as it is not a popular one at home or at school.
Family/Relationships
PARENTS: MOTHER: Katherynne Davison. Society Wife.
FATHER: Alexander Davison. Magical equivalent of a highly successful lawyer.
SIBLINGS: Jayden Davison. About 3 years younger than her. Jayden aligns herself with the rest of the family and is seen as the favored daughter.
EXTENDED FAMILY: Katherynne has a twin sister, Annabel, and Alexander has a few siblings of her own. I don't have any planned cousins for Dari in game, but would be open to plotting that out once she is in game.
AMP Status: In an arranged marriage, which was set up by her parents when she was very young. He is from a family very much like hers, but doesn't share her values in the slightest. He is quite attractive, but horribly inexperienced and a bit of a prude, or so she thinks at this point. If Dari must marry him, she's hoping to loosen him up a bit. At the moment, she finds him quite boring.
Appearance
APPEARANCE: Dari is beautiful. She's the kind of pretty that made you hate girls in high school and she has the kind of natural beauty most girls would kill for. She doesn't know it, though. Dari has almost no clue how gorgeous she actually is and even though she carries herself with a lot of poise and grace, she's almost surprised when people take an interest in her. She has long, dark brown hair that falls past her shoulders, usually in loose waves and bright green eyes. She often hides her heart behind jokes and a light flirtiness, but her eyes -which are very expressive- tend to give away how she feels. That and her tendency to bite her lip or the inside of her cheek when she's upset and the way she kinks her brow and pout when she's really trying to get her way. Dari's typical style of dress is casual, but trendy and even in a simple pair of sweats, she looks amazing.

LIKES: Breakfast foods (especially French Toast), boys, literature, sports, television, sweets.
DISLIKES: Vegetables, sleeping alone, wandwork (she's horrible at it and dislikes being reminded of such)
STRENGTHS: Friendly, beautiful, charismatic, intelligent, athletic. Magical strengths are Potions and Divination.
WEAKNESSES: Insecure, horrible cook (she could burn boiling water), bad at wandwork, especially transfiguration magics, blind to the faults of those she loves, craves affection and attention.
DETAILED PERSONALITY:
Dari, once you get to know her, is one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet. She is thoughtful and kind, always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needs it. Sadly, most people don't get to know her as she is, because they don't always look past her appearance and she has a hard time really letting anyone in. Dari craves affection, but the idea of being emotionally close to someone, of letting them into her heart and letting herself -need- them absolutely terrifies her. She pushes people away when she gets scared and she tends to hide from the world when she's upset. Dari avoids conflict like the plague, especially when it comes to the few people she genuinely cares for. She'll hide it out, avoiding someone she thinks is upset with her for a few days until it blows over, rather than having to face actually seeing how she's disappointed them. Dari need for affection combined with her outward appearance can sometimes give the wrong impression, though. She thrives on physical comfort when life isn't going quite right and while she is by no means "loose" or "slutty," some people might perceive her as such if they knew just how readily she falls into something physical, particularly because she makes certain not to form any sort of emotional attachments. As much as she enjoys fooling around with this guy or that, though, Dari knows how important appearances can be in a place like Eligere and she has learned to be discreet about the majority of those kinds of interludes.
As guarded as her heart is, Dari has managed to let a select few people in and for those people, there is nothing she wouldn't do to ensure their happiness or safety. It's not easy to earn her genuine affection, something beyond the surface friendliness she gives to everyone, though, and if you are lucky enough to worm your way into her heart, it's something to be treasured. Make no mistake - just because her affections are merely platonic doesn't mean it doesn't mean something to actually gain her love and trust. Dari isn't a girl who gives either easily.
Contrary to what her family seems to think of her, Dari is a bright and capable young woman. She is one of those nerdy types who loves to learn, even if you might not guess it as first glance. True, she does very much look like the beautiful, bubbly, popular girl on the outside, but once you get to know her, you'll find she's rarely without a book of some kind in her hand or within grabbing distance and she spends enough time on her studies to earn good marks in nearly all of her classes. Those requiring rigorous wand work come more difficultly to her, of course, but even in those, she is diligent about doing what she needs to in order to master the material and do well. It is Dari's hope that if she can excel in all of her classes, her parents might begin to see value in her as more than just someone they can marry off into an equally good family. She's certainly not allergic to fun and she does enjoy socializing, but you'll find she manages to make school a priority and that is reflected in her exam scores.
History
CHILDHOOD:
Dari was born the first of two beautiful daughters to Alexander and Katherynne Davision into a large, lavish home and surrounded by children of a similar background to herself. It was an idyllic neighborhood for the Davisons, wither Katherynne's sister and her family nearby and Alexander's good friend Richard Pitt moving into the house next door very shortly after Dari's birth.
Richard had a son Dari's own age already when the young family moved in and he and Dari made friends almost from the moment they had met. They were nearly inseparable, something that neither of their parents ever thought to discourage. As far as the Davisons knew, after all, Jeremy was the product of a proper breeding just as Dari had been - there was never and to this day has been never a reason to suspect otherwise.
As Dari grew up, she came to regard Jeremy Pitt as her best friend. They began sneaking into one another's bedrooms at night as soon as they were old enough to manage, though it was strictly innocent. Dari merely took comfort in Jeremy's presence and his parents always seemed warmer and more welcoming to her than her own. For their part, Alexander and Katherynne thought the Pitts would be a good influence on her and they encouraged the friendship. At such a young age, Dari and Jeremy seemed more like brother and sister than anything else, after all, and they did not forsee that relationship affecting the marriage they had arranged for Dari to another boy from shortly after she was born.
AT ELIGERE.
Boarding school came as a relief to the teenage Dari. Her parents grew more overbearing and difficult to please as she aged and she was happy to finally be out from under their constant supervision. She and Jeremy would be going to the same school and she could find no real reason to be homesick so long as he was with her. Many of her peers didn't share her views on the world, but she had long ago learned to keep her feelings about the purist regime to herself. By now it was habit.
It was the summer before her 9th grade year when Jeremy gave Dari her first kiss and it was somewhere in the middle of winter Holidays of that same year when Richard Pitt walked in on the pair well on their way to losing their virginity together. Her parents would have been scandalized if they had known the physical turn Dari's relationship with the boy next door had taken, but Richard kept it to himself, feeling there was no cause for concern. Dari and Jeremy weren't together, after all and Dari certainly wasn't the only girl he'd seen his son fooling around with. As far as he was concerned, Jeremy was sowing his wild oats and Dari was probably doing something similar. Knowing what drama it was cause the girl in his own family, he kept silent, ducking out of the room at the time with a chuckle and a muttering of something like "I hope you're using the right charm."
The start of her secondary education at Eligere Institute also introduced Dari to her other best friend - the girl who became her roommate at the start of the 9th grade. The two girls lived together for the first two years of their secondary education before being split up this year, forced to move in with the boys they are betrothed to, instead, at the beginning of this year. During their time sharing a living space, though, Dari and Ashleigh became exceedingly close, bonding over the poor treatment they receive from their mothers, amongst other things. Living apart this year has done nothing to diminish the close friendship they formed during that time and Dari tries to spend time with the girl whenever she can.
In the present day, Dari and Jeremy's relationship has not changed. They are still best friends, they still manage to fool around on occasion, but it's not an exclusive arrangement for either of them. Jeremy had been paired with his own partner in the Arranged Marriage Program and while Dari doesn't love the idea of Jeremy marrying the girl (actually, she seems to despise his betrothed for no apparent reason at all, but she doesn't understand why), she has yet to figure out the reason behind it. It doesn't seem worth dwelling on or analyzing, anyway. Her marriage has been arranged since birth and it was only a matter of time before Jeremy's parents chose a mate for him, as well. In the circles their parents run in, it's an inevitable future and she's focused on enjoying her youth and some semblance of freedom while she still can.
