Heir of the Iron Fist
Keiji was not in a good mood. Apparently in an attempt to form an alliance with him, Lord Yukimura had captured what he called a "fiery warrior woman" and was offering as a "bride" for him. The crassness of Yukimura galled him on an almost primal level, but Keiji couldn't afford to make an enemy of the man..yet. He'd have to handle this carefully. Perhaps staging an "escape" would be the best course to getting the woman out. First though, he'd have to assess her. He'd need to know if she was actually a warrior or simply a woman with a fiery temper. He stopped in front of the door to her room/cell. He knocks on the door, he has not idea what state of dress the woman may or not be in.

"Miss, may i enter?"

	She can't help the sweet little smile. "But I had you begging for mercy, 'husband'," she called. Then moved closer to see what he was motioning to. The way she lights up probably makes up for the fact that they have to throw fake insults around. She can see it is a false wall of a sort. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Keiji looks about to say something back, when he sees a flash of red come around the corner. Quickly, and not really thinking, he pushes Rose against the wall and pushes his lips on hers. The experience was..pleasant. He parted from her a second when he saw the guard standing.

"Unless you want your eyes torn out for gawking I suggest you leave!"

"Gomen, Deathsrike-sama," the guard said with nervous fear as he turned the corner.

Keiji turns back to Rose. "I apologize for that." His face turns a little red.

	Rose blinked up at him after the guard left. Her cheeks felt very warm but now she just gives a very low chuckle. "They'll think that we just use arguing as a pretext to spend time alone how, you know. If that guard gets chatty," Rose points out. But now she shakes her head. "It's okay. Really. "I just reacted. It was either that or strike you, and really didn't want to do that." He can feel the hotness of her breath, the smell of her perfume, the feel of her chest pressed against his...Suddenly realizing he was lingering close to her much longer than necessary he backs away. He coughs once, knowing but attempting to ignore how red his face probably is.

He walks over to the wall and feels around. "Ah, here we are." He points to a small symbol in the bottom right corner, hidden by the grass. "It's a magic ward. Only those who know the spell can open this. Fotrunately, I'm familiar with it." His hands form an intricate series of gestures as he quitely begins a chant. As he finished, the wall disappeared entirely. "We must go in quickly, the effect only lasts a minute."

Rose had ended up blushing when his back was to her. It felt like there was a danger past just trying to gather intelligence. This was dangerous to both of them and they would have to be careful not to get burned.

"Then lets go," she reaches for his hand to grasp it gently as she moves forward. She is checking for security as she moves inside but the magic was the security so they are free to move.

	He accepts her hold on his hand as guides her though what appeared to be an armory. There were all manner of weapons scattered about the room. Nearby there was a bookcase that was filled with scrolls. "Can you read Japanese as well as speak it?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Yes, yo be honest my Mandarin is better," Rose confesses as she moves to start looking. But she is still trying to read anyways. It won't hurt to look anyways. 	"Let me see," she presses against him as she looks over his shoulder then balks. "This is in a code of some kind. I don't quite recognize what it's supposed to say though." "It depends. Given the quality of the code I could say we should look where these scrolls are. Another scroll would likely have the key to reading this one," she points out as she starts to search. She is no longer pressed against him but still she is very close by and almost on her knees as she looks at the scrolls gathered.

She has done things like this before. And this isn't so bad.

Keiji nods and begins rifling through the ones on top. He feels an almost childish annoyance that she was less close than she was. He angrily pushed that thought aside as he sped up a bit, sifting through the papers. "Wait a minute." He takes a closer look one of the scrolls. "This isn't Japanes at all, but it does look like words rather than random markings. Is the language familiar to you?"

She is standing next to him again. Then feels a trickle of fear.

"This.... this isn't good. He's working with one of the Celestial cities," Rose utters. She touches a finger to one of the characters. "This means Immortal Weapon."

She moves to another. "This means flower. Specifically a dark flower."

She brings her finger to another. "Bride."

She grabs the other scroll and holds them side by side. "Someone... I don't know who. Paid Yukimura to use me for this. They wanted to distract my father. I assume it is Steel Serpent. I did not think we saw the last of him."

"Yes." And she looks at him blinking.

"You don't know, of course. About K'un L'un. The cycle...."

She shakes her head. "Davros thought he should be the Iron Fist. But he wasn't allowed to try. He was very angry. At everyone he thought stood in his way and he betrayed his people. He went to another city, which may as well have been another nation. You see their are seven cities. The city my father called his home for so long gave him the power of the Iron Fist. My father is her champion. And in a tournament that determines who has power, each city has their warrior their Immortal Weapon. He is K'un L'un's. Steele Serpent coveted this honor and glory for himself and still seeks to take it."

Rose bites her lip. "I don't think this was just a simple plot to hurt you. I think Davros seeks to weaken my father so he can take the power of the Iron Fist. I think he seeks to take control of K'un L'un for himself to become it's ruler in place of the Thunderer."

"Shimata," Keiji gasps in disbelief. "That..that is a lot to take in. At..at the very least it's proof. If we can get this to Lord Genma.."

"I'm afraid not Deathstrike-sama." Like the door they entered, another wall simply disappeared. Lord Yukimura with two bodyguards clad in dark red standing on either side of him, entered the room. "I thought it was suspicious when I hear my guard mention he saw you kissing your bride, Keiji. From what i know of you, you've practically swore off women because of your family issues." Yukimura's smrik is mocking, Keiji is fighting the urge to simply snarl.

She gulps a little. But both scrolls are rolls up and shoved through her obi.

"Then ell me this, what do you have to gain by working with Davros? He has no power in K'un L'un," she asks flatly. "Or is that it? Do you fancy yourself a Kingmaker? You should know he has forgotten what honor means. He has become a betrayer and would bring ruin to you if he thought it would give him the power he wants."

And right now she is shifting into a fighting stance. A kimono isn't for fighting in though. Not well as it restricts her movement.

Yukimura laughs a bit. He mutters a word, and the wall is returned, now with a black symbol placed on it.

"Our arrangement was that if I aided in his attempts to take K'un L'un, then he would provide me with slaves captured from his enemies. I've been looking for a new market and a city that most don't even know exists works nicely." Yukimura shrugs back, his robe falling to the floor. His body is prctically chisled of raw, hard muscle. "I'm not concerned if he doesn't follow through, he's already paid me for my intial aid. He has nothing to gain by causing my fall. I intially planned to have your father fight Deathstrike over there, he'd win, but not without cost. Unfortunately you've forced me to change my plans."

Yukimura strokes his long beard.

"Perhaps when I kill you, I'll have you put on Lord Genma's property. That disgusting blob's so-called morals have hindered my business too long. As for you Keiji, I'm afraid you'll have to disappear."

Keiji growls, his claws sprouting from his fingernails. "Not bloody likely." For now, no one moves.

Rose can feel something deep down hum. And there is a roar somewhere back in her blood and she is throwing a knife across the room quickly before the guards can act. It slices across the side of Lord Yukimura's face and sinks into the wall.

"Not if I kill you first, you dog. I can not let you threaten K'un L'un nor bring harm to my family."

And he is a slaver on top of that. The verdict for him has already been set in her mind. She'll feel guilty latter but right now she just sees the fact he must be ended.
