Dante's pieces move accordingly on their own. "They're not my buddies." He knew his place in the organization, and while he didn't like it, it was to be expected. His powers were a danger to society as he'd both been told and shown, so he felt he deserved what he got his way. Didn't mean he enjoyed it in the least, just accepted the facts.
