001. DINNER AND ENGAGEMENT
I had dinner with Septy last week at this really lovely place we saw on New Years and it was absolutely delightful though ~~I worried he might not be able to afford~~ it was so cold, and so wet. I had to cast a few quick spells to keep my shoes from getting wet.

I miss my sisters since they've gone back to Hogwarts and once again I'm left to wonder at how empty this house becomes once they've left. I'm the only one up here and it's like a bloody dungeon. I've been talking to the mirror for company, for Merlin's sake! I might go down to the kitchens and make a pot of tea since I haven't been feeling well for a few days. I think I might have caught something.

As my sisters--a blood bond that no man or beast or anything can break--you and Charis have a lot of say in my decisions, but in the end you don't get to make them for me. I can't see why I can't have both and though everything tells me that I can't, I can't just give up one since both mean so much to me. That's too difficult of a decision. Don't ask me to pick one over the other, Callidora, please?

I'm not asking you to pick one! But the rest of the family- everyone but me and Charis- will if this goes on much longer, and you know it! That's not going to change just because you don't want to pick! And when it does happen, if you pick him over us, you're leaving Charis and me to choose between you and the rest of the family, and how is asking that of us any more fair? Why should we have to lose some part of our family so that you don't have to choose between your sisters and your boyfriend?

	No, I'm not getting at soul mates. I mean things are going to happen the way they happen and you can't stop them from unfolding because it's too late for that.
