If I so much as hear one banjo note...

The batmobile did not get lost on the road, that just didn't happen. The satellite gps was just too good and that thing could handle nearly any terrain.

Now the car he'd...borrowed, when their rent-a-car had broken down after an out of town mission...well that certainly could get lost. Especially since there was construction on the only main highway and the only road left had somehow led them to...was this a swamp? He was pretty sure this counted as a swamp.

Ugh god they were tire deep in swamp in the middle of nowhere with no other roads to go down and construction on the last one.

"I hate the country," Thomas grumbled in the driver's seat.

"It'd be more useful to make the banjo player pay, then at least he'd stop playing."

When they approached the banjo player didn't pause in his playing. "What're ya outatowners here for?"

"Just directions. The highway back there was closed about a state ago, only clear road led us here. There any side stuff open or way back to the main road without needing to go a state back?"

The man seemed either annoyed or offended, and shrugged before going back into the house, likely to look for the map. It was a few minutes before they heard a voice, though it came from behind them. "Nice car you folks have back there," said the new guy, who looked like he was likely related to the one they'd just seen. He grinned as he aimed a shotgun in their direction.

"Now the keys, if ya fancy folk please," said the first one, who'd now come out of the house, this time not armed with a screeching banjo, but also an old shotgun. "Oh, and empty those pockets, you rich folk tend to have some nice stuff in them pockets."

	Thomas just sighed and rolled his eyes at all this. "Do I look like I'm kiddin' missy? Hands up, empty ya pockets, and throw yer stuff over this way." 	Thomas rolled his eyes and raised his hands. "I said empty yer pockets too! Can't you rich folk listen?" Thomas just sighed. "Well we can hardly empty of pockets if our hands are in the air. 	The first gunman seemed flustered and very annoyed. "Fine. No funny business though." He reluctantly nodded at his, well probably relative but neither had introduced themselves. The moment the gunman doubled over, Thomas hauled him to his feet, and put the groaning man in between them and the other gunman. The other guy hadn't shot because he risked hitting his partner in crime, but now with their would-be victims using a human shield...he looked at a loss for what to do.

"...Put him down or I shoot."

Thomas sighed and rolled his eyes. "You asked for it..." He shoved the whimpering mess of a man at the guy with the shotgun, taking the resulting confusion as an opportunity to grab the other shotgun and use the butt of it to knock the second guy out.

"Seriously...holding us at gunpoint. Idiots."
