Thomas agreed, but for very different reasons. He couldn't say what it was that had him just slightly on alert, the man's size, the way he moved and held himself, something about his background story. But whatever, it was Maria's private life. He wasn't going to go do a background check on anyone she saw more than once, he wasn't his father. There'd have to be more to go on to even warrant that.
"I don't need you to say what interests you about him. I'll be very happy not knowing those details."
