Thomas and Sarah- Meme- Angst- Seperation (AU)
She'd been gone for months without a word and with no way to trace her. Just vanished into thin air. Had it been anyone else he'd be mad that they could even pull that off without him finding them. But with her...well he'd admit he was more hurt than anything. If she was going to up and leave he'd expected...well at least a goodbye, or some note or something. Not just an empty place and no leads to follow.

Which is why she's the last person he expects to see when he drops by a supermarket in one of the smaller neighbourhoods on his way home. There's an initial moment of shock and then it hits him what she's buying and her...condition. He probably scares a few of the other customers by the way he stands there, eyebrow twitching in anger, and glaring daggers at the young woman innocently making her purchases.

He never makes it home. Instead he follows her, recklessly still in his civilian ID, as far as he can without alerting her to his presence to where she's staying. Still blinded by anger, he doesn't wait till it's completely dark and changes to Robin gear to sneak into her living room ahead of her.

A tall shadow looms behind Sarah's couch, eyebrow still twitching, as she enters.

	"Why the fuck do you think I came back," she snaps at him. "God. You're thick." She scoots trying to sit up so she can glare but she's sort of stuck. 	God was this woman frustrating. He pulls her hands away from her face and looks her in the eye, "Then come to me for help. What is so hard to understand about that?" As if he wouldn't help her, even if it was a problem that he wasn't...so involved in. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"I'm not used to help coming without a price tag. You're the only person who hasn't tried hurting me or did something 'for my own good' and.... I...." It was hard to stay mad at her when she looked so helpless. He sighs and sits down on the couch next to her and pulls her up to a sitting position so he can get rid of these silly thoughts she has. Still holding onto her hands he gives her a very serious look, "Sarah. When have I ever done that? And we both know the answer is never. So there's no reason for you to run. Let's get that into your head first. No running. I will help you. Just ask." He hopes she gets the message. That he wasn't going anywhere unless she really wanted him out of her life. That's something he hopes she doesn't want.

	She bites her lower lip looking very thoughtful and for a moment guarded. Then she gave in and leaned so she could rest her head on him. "I won't run away again. I promise." That might not mean much to him right now but she missed him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He sighs a bit and hugs her tighter, "I...missed you too." Although at the next part he pulls back and actually holds her at arms length just so he can see her face to be sure she's serious because she was sounding insane, "What? What are you talking about? 	"Robin. I'm almost five months pregnant, I can't keep food down as much as I'd like, my hip constantly hurts and I've only slept thirteen hours in the past four days. There's no way I feel okay." 	"I was being good and out of trouble, right? Someone accused me of smuggling illegal goods half way through my trip." She's fairly annoyed by that. "I had to set people straight and almost blew my traveling cover ID over that. I was very annoyed by that." She has the look of someone who is very tired.
