Thomas and Sarah- Meme- Angst- Seperation (AU)
She'd been gone for months without a word and with no way to trace her. Just vanished into thin air. Had it been anyone else he'd be mad that they could even pull that off without him finding them. But with her...well he'd admit he was more hurt than anything. If she was going to up and leave he'd expected...well at least a goodbye, or some note or something. Not just an empty place and no leads to follow.

Which is why she's the last person he expects to see when he drops by a supermarket in one of the smaller neighbourhoods on his way home. There's an initial moment of shock and then it hits him what she's buying and her...condition. He probably scares a few of the other customers by the way he stands there, eyebrow twitching in anger, and glaring daggers at the young woman innocently making her purchases.

He never makes it home. Instead he follows her, recklessly still in his civilian ID, as far as he can without alerting her to his presence to where she's staying. Still blinded by anger, he doesn't wait till it's completely dark and changes to Robin gear to sneak into her living room ahead of her.

A tall shadow looms behind Sarah's couch, eyebrow still twitching, as she enters.

	It's almost three in the afternoon when she realizes she has been sleeping all this time. She stirs and feels to see if he is still there. She wouldn't be surprised if he still was. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Thomas is still out, sleeping very soundly as her stirring usually would have woken him. But he's exhausted both mentally and physically, and if she wants to wake him up now he'll need some prodding. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	That had her smile fondly at him. She kissed is forehead gently then slipped out of the bed to fo sneakily start painting while he's sleeping. Because she's a naughty girl. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He stirs a little at the kiss but stays asleep.

It takes a bit of time to get all the supplies and set up the room for painting, so he has extra napping time while she's being naughty.

Later that afternoon the smell of paint finally gets into her room and causes him to stir again and roll onto the side of the bed where she should be. He sleepily opens his eyes to realize she's not there and...is that the smell of paint. Oh great that woman...

She's actually doing good. She was forced to take a break because her back hurt. The smell of paint also bugged her slightly. But mostly she couldn't quite reach some higher up spots so she had stuck to what she could reach.

And she had also accidently smeared some pant on her face while working so while she was taking her break she tried picking it off. But she really didn't expect Thomas to wake up.

	He pretty much jumps out of the bed and sprints out to find her. "What are you doing Sarah?" Yes he's frowning. She started without him and on top of that was actually painting! She wasn't supposed to be painting. That was his job and it wasn't good for her. Lots of frowning. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	His glaring tells her he doesn't care. No more painting for her, not while he's here. "I'm going to finish the first coat. 	She decided to not fight him. The look on his face said everything. "I'll go." She looks a little guilty. She hadn't meant to take this away from him. She had just wanted to help. She really hadn't thought it would bug him. Of course once she's in the living room she notices the big difference as it's easier to breath out here. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He was really annoyed. Months of being excluded and having stuff hidden from him and now the first thing he could help her with and she wouldn't let him. He's a little hurt.

Lucky for him she's only done most of one wall, and not even the top of it, so he gets to work on that. He works fast, to make up for lost time, and makes sure he gets every single spot. He wants to be very sure he's doing a good job on this, after all it's going to be a kid's room.

	She hasn't been able to do the bottom either. She has been very careful about not letting paint drip. The blond is trying to find something else to do. Mostly because she can't sit still. Of course she knows her back hurts so she should probably try and take it easy but she couldn't bring herself to sit down just yet. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He does wonder what she's doing now, but he decides to finish at least one wall before going to check on her. After the first coat of one wall is done, very well he'll proudly think, he leaves the room to go find what she's up to. And if she's kept out of trouble. With her you never knew. Cleaning up had turned into a sneezing fit in the kitchen because one of the cabinets had been very dusty. After she had cleaned that up though she had been forced to concede that her body did not want to put up with this especially her hip which decided to bitch both loudly and rudely at her.

So she ended up on the couch trying to ice her hip and lower back. That's where he'll find her.

"I tried cleaning a cabinet in the kitchen. It was a total mess and my back had already been bothering me.... I decided to call it quits after my sneezing fit. Plus my hip started bugging me again," she's not happy about her hip and feels she should be honest about what went wrong.

"I think I should start wearing a mask when I do the cleaning here so I don't end up sneezing like that."

Plus she might get itchy again if it's really bad.

	"Pregnancy hormones," she supplies deciding that's better than pointing out that she hadn't let too many people touch her since she ran off. And this was a slightly big deal for her.
