If it makes Tia Gabby happy...
Suntano Saldono looked at the address again, then at the building in front of him. Tia Gabby must have made a mistake, although the likelihood of /that/ was impossible. The woman was so detail oriented she couldn't have worked for anyone but Ms. Potts at Stark Inc. But this couldn't be Anya Stark's address. For one, it didn't look like a cutting edge modern building, and there didn't appear to be a penthouse suite at the top.

He sighed, shouldered his courier bag and turned to leave. It was just as well. Tia Gabby's idea that he could be Anya Stark's executive assistant was crazy. He was still a student. He was getting used to civilian life. He didn't think he'd like Boston anyway.

He was totally not right for the job. The girl probably had applicants from all the top agencies around the world.

Completely not paying attention, he ran smack to a girl coming toward him on the sidewalk.

Anya was running late. Of course she was. Mom said she inherited the late gene from her father, but then he always said she got it from Mom. Either way, she got it from one of them and it was a curse.

She was usually in the office by 6am, but today an issue came up (she lost track of time in the lab) and it made her late. Today of all days. She had interviews for an executive assistant (minion) to do today.

Coffee in one hand, resumes tucked under an arm and her handheld in her other hand she headed for the front door. Reading her email she wasn't watching where she was going and ran right into someone.

Coffee went flying from her hand, the stack of resumes scattered and her handheld was the only thing that didn't go flying.

	"She lives in Cambridge, but works here in this building," Anya said with a somewhat amused look on her face. She was used to being recognized on sight and it was refreshing not to be recognized. 	In Sunny's defense, he'd been out of the country until recently, and not really paying attention to the news. If he was paying attention, he'd have at least seen a resemblance. 	It would be rude, but he pulled out his cell phone anyway and typed in Anya Stark into the search engine. When he had an image, he held it up to compare. "And I thought army life could be embarrassing. So how demanding are you? Is this one of those two pints of blood and firstborn deals? I've already had that deal and welched on the firstborn clause." "I need more hours in the day to get to everything. I have one question for you and then you can tell me any pertinent information about yourself."

"How do you feel about long hours, too many things to do, picking up and traveling around the world at the drop of a hat, attending fashion shows, attending movie premieres, attending charity events, being in the tabloids, scheduling someone else's life, being available 24/7, and playing babysitter?"

"I can handle anything. I can probably find an extra hour in your day so you can get to one more thing on your to-do list." It was a rash statement, but in his experience people who claimed to be that busy were generally micromanaging something they didn't need to worry about. Even royalty.

Did he read somewhere that her brother was still single?

"I'm honorably discharged from the Army, a business admin student taking online classes at the moment, and I can double as security when needed. How do you feel about somebody ordering you around when you're not on point, double checking what you're wearing, and telling your family you're not available when you really aren't available?"

"Don't worry about the coffee. I'll grab a cup when we get upstairs."

They entered the main lobby and headed for the security desk. "Good morning, Joe," Anya said with a smile for the middle-aged man behind the desk. "How are you this morning?"

"Good morning, Miss Anya. I'm fine, thank you."

"Joe, this is Mr. Suntano Saldono. I just hired him and I was wondering if you could set him up with a temporary ID and security clearance until he gets down here to get everything set up."

"Of course, Miss Anya." He looked at Sunny. "Can I please see a picture ID?"

	Joe took the license and put the information into the computer. "There's a few in the neighborhood, but the best coffee is upstairs. Miss Anya takes good care of us." He was about to give her a smart ass remark, but held it back. Just getting hired for a job he didn't think he'd be qualified for wasn't the time to convince his new employer there was more to him than could be found on his resume.

But he wasn't calling anybody Miss unless they were elderly spinsters.

"Yes, I am. Diving right in is the sure fire way to keep from freaking out that I actually landed the job."

"Thankfully today's a light day. By light I mean only six hours of meetings and working out next week's schedule."

Anya led him to a set of stairs and started walking up. "Second floor is the lounge." By the second floor she meant the whole floor, not just a room on the second floor. "Fridges, coffee machines, espresso machines, pool tables, Foosball table, couches, video games and whatnot. We're all under a great deal of pressure so the second floor is for relaxing and destressing."

	Sunny easily kept pace. He was still accomplishing more before breakfast than most people did all day. The stories about his new boss' workaholic tendencies appeared to be accurate as well. "I have one and my conversational Japanese doesn't get me into trouble... much."

He pulled out a notepad from his pocket and began taking notes. It would do until he got his hands on a tablet. Surely there would be office equipment coming shortly.

"What meetings do you have today? Did your previous assistant have anything in hard copy? I need it until I'm set up."

"I don't have a previous assistant," she explained. They start to walk around the second floor so he could see all that was there and so she could get another coffee. Caffeine made the world go around. "I had my AI help me with scheduling until I found an assistant. I'll have him send you my schedule. Just as soon as we get you set up with email and equipment."

She tilted her head. "Windows, Mac or linux? We'll get you started on something you know until you've had a chance to learn our operating system."
