AU: Three's Company
Kael had been living with and fighting beside them for quite a while. He and Vernique enjoyed enjoyed the... benefits package she'd extended to him some time back.

While the little family was happy, Svalin continued to 'live like a battle-oriented nun,' as Vernique tended to put it to herself. One day, while Solver was out for the day with Sydney, Zoey, and Marlow, she managed to corner her wife. "I want to talk about something."

Svalin was a little taken aback at what her wife was suggesting. It boggled the mind a bit.

She wasn't lonely. Svalin had a son, a wife, siblings, a large family and the Defenders. She didn't need...her wife was right. Svalin would never admit it, but the nights could be long and her heart still ached.

She sighed. "Wouldst it make thou happy and lessen thy worry?"

	And yes, Vernique had curiously checked with Aridis, just in case, about appropriate Asgardian techniques for certain things. Solver didn't need any siblings. When she and Svalin were done sorting that out, they walked hand in hand and she knocked on Kael's door. He'd known to expect Vernique that afternoon. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Kael had to admit, he was a little..nervous. Over the course of his time on Midgard he had come to consider Svalin a friend and comrade-in-arms. He had enjoyed a very, pleasant, friendship with Vernique as well. However, it hadn't exactly prepared him for Vernique's request. Still..he respected Svalin, and she was quite beautiful... In the end, he chose to do as Vernique requested. Of course that didn't mean he didn't have a few jitters.

He had dressed simply in loose-fitting clothes in preperation. When Vernique's knock came, he took a deep breath an opened the door. "Lady Vernique," he greeted before turning to Svalin, giving the woman a somewhat shy smile. "Lady Svalin..."

	Kael didn't know how to react to Vernique's kiss with Svalin standing right there. His eyes widened a little in surprise, but finally closed to allow himself to enjoy it. He would trust Vernique to know how she wanted this to work. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Vernique enjoys the kiss, then turns to her beloved spouse. "...I almost suspect I'd get better results with what I wanted if I brought you both back to the training room and privacy-locked it for the three of us...but... he's a very good kisser, hon."
