Date Night.
It was a lot like Mom and Dad's traditions, actually. Where Dad had used telegrams and faxes, she used e-mail. Vernique told Jordan that she'd be in the appropriate area that weekend and would like to have dinner, maybe some dancing.

Vernique looks through the closet until she finds a soft, white old dress-shirtish shirt that is just a little short in the arms for Jordan now. Then she started rolling the sleeve back and folding, studying it, studying Jordan, smiling, and laying the shirt out before looking in another part of the closet.

"To match what I've brought -- well not match, if it truly matched, we might look like we were going to a fetish party or something, and that's not what I'm going for. Restarting: to pair properly with what I've brought, I think a certain... Impeccable slovenliness will do nicely." And she lays out a comfortable pair of pants that allows for movement, and goes to get out her own outfit.

	He guides her out to the limo. Yes, they have a limo for burgers and poutine, then clubbing. As far as Jordan is concerned, this is perfect. He nods. "My innate x-gene. I was supposed to be a mimic, apparently, before Langowski messed with my birth mother's DNA. There was just enough left that my mother, Lillian, was able to save my life with a blood transfusion, because we're two of the maybe three dozen people on the planet with the blood type.

I pick it up best from mutants, but can do Atlantean hybrids... which are technically sort of mutants, and people with altered DNA, like the Fantastic Four, if I'm around them long enough. Its... a really minor thing though, regardless."
