Work always came first. Not only was Andrew still a very dear friend, but what they were doing was too important to ever jeopardize with time spent on a relationship. And Julian understood that completely. She kept both of their confidences reliably, though she'd made it abundantly clear to Julian that if his ideas posed any threat to Andrew or to Genosha, love would not save him.

A few years later, during a rare visit to meet with his father, Julian revealed he had something else on the agenda.
"Mr. Bennet, I wish to ask for your daughter's hand."

	Erik Anton Bennet Howard was excessively spoiled by his grandparents and his Distinguished Cousin, but he managed not to be rotten. Jet black hair and iridescent blue eyes that strangely seemed to glow more in the presence of crowds. (Reply to this)(Parent)

It was a rare, rare thing for Cindy to find herself attracted to a guy -- other than her beloved Joshua on the West Wing -- and so it took her by surprise to hear her heart flutter when she found out that Jai was currently amicably single.

Should she pursue this? From what angle? It took a great deal of planning.

So she get tickets to the stylized biopic of Rene Descartes. Complete with swashbuckling. How could he tell her no?
