J'anna woke up face down on the floor beside her bed. Once again, the sorority sisters had convinced her to just try the cheese sticks at the bar and once again it was a bad idea. She should have just stuck to beer because at least that wouldn't have made her drunk. Picking herself up, she shifted into Martian just to make sure nothing was broken and then shifted back. Much better. After a few moments of putting herself together, J'anna left her apartment and made her way to the coffee shop on the corner. She may be slightly hungover but she had promised Lian coffee. She was going to make good on that promise.
Quietly, she found a table and sat to wait.

Character Name: J'anna J'onnz

Physical description (face, build, weight): In standard human form J'anna is 5'3" 110 pounds, auburn hair and blue eyes. In Martian form she is 6'0" and green with pink eyes, red hair. Weight is irrelevant because she's a six foot tall Martian.

Abilities: J'anna has elements of both of her parents abilities, though she takes mostly from her father. J'anna has superhuman strength and speed, intangibility, telepathy, flight, and pyrokinesis.
Weaknesses and flaws: Dairy products of any sort make her incapacitatedly drunk. Additionally when working with fire she is unable to maintain a human seeming. Her intangibility also does not work when she is in human form and despite having pyrokinesis she is not fully immune to fire. Long exposure to flame weakens her like kryptonite does Superman.

Relatives (living/dead?): J'onn J'onnz (father, living) and Aubrey Sparks (mother, living but comatose), Shayera Stewart (godmother, living), Rex Stewart (sorta brother, living), Nicolette "Pnnt" Hall (sorta sister, living.)
Backstory: Helping Manhunter overcomehis weakness to fire, Aubrey "Scorch" Sparks and J'onn J'onnz fell in love and during a night of passion conceived J'anna. Unfortunately shortly after that evening, J'onn's "Fernus" personality was unleashed and he and Scorch did battle. Fernus was ultimately defeated, but the pregnant Scorch ended up in a coma. To date she has not awakened. Guilt-striken, J'onn found himself to be a single father of a fire-loving half Martian girl. Concerned that there were things that he could not give to her, J'onn turned to his old friend Shayera for help. J'anna grew up considering Shayera a mother figure and considers Rex and Pnnt siblings. J'anna is also very close to her father, taking on the name Manhunter both as a nod to her Martian heritage and as a way of honoring her father. Even though she's grown and in college (studying psychology and biology, pre-med) J'anna is still quite a daddy's girl and, like her father, has a weakness for Oreos.
J'anna presently lives in Star City where she is a student at the local university. In her spare time she fights crime and volunteers at the Humane Society. She is also a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority and is usually the sober driver.
How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: I'm thinking that when the Royal Flush start messing with Lian, J'anna will step up and help.
What are you planning to do with this character? Help to reform the Outsiders
What do you want to see happen with this character?: Ultimately she is struggling with the fate of her mother and would like to find a way to wake her up. J'anna rather feels like she has to save her. And the world.
