Public Bulletin: Regarding Safety
Back in October, Konata proposed an idea for a government and with it a police force. At the time it was simply a joke currently I believe the idea would be beneficial if taken seriously and with more thought put into it.

The place needs at the very least a small justice system because our current state of anarchy is failing to prevent unlawfulness.

With that said, if there's no objection I'm going to start running a small law system for the town. If anyone would like to volunteer themselves as police, input agreeable rules, or have an opinion that isn't completely moronic that you would like to express please do so.

You will be payed for your efforts if you choose to participate in this. Our funding will start with Clifford, who will provide 250 munny for that window he broke on the building I was thinking of using. Please get it to me by Friday or I will lock you in a closet for 48 hours.

I would like to see the evidence that has led you to believe I committed said crime and your reasoning for charging most of a night's Inn fee.

I have it on tape. There is one witness. And currently there are no laws regulating fees you must pay for breaking a law so I picked a nice number.

Um, could we have a small counsel of people to review the rules? That way everyone will be more satisfied with them if they feel like it's not just one person making them up (and therefore thinking it some kind of tyranny). I don't think everyone needs to be writing the rules, one or two people could do that, but several people should look them over.

Also they should be on display somewhere so everyone can know what they are.

That is reasonable. A checks and balances system in a way.

Do you have a particular place in mind?

Uh, maybe by the 'Traverse Town' sign in the first district? Or in the Inn lobby since almost everyone lives there?

Wait! You could do both!

(ooc: He has the most issues talking, writing his grammar is usually okay. Mostly because it takes him a long time to write it because he puts a lot of effort in it.)

I have experience organizing and leading law enforcing teams. I understand if you wish to have an alternative leader, but I will be signing up to help.

Also, I can provide self-defense lessons to those who are interested.
