Avalon lets Henry take care of Josh, after all it's a bit much for him to worry about "driving" and helping Josh out at the same time while in space. In a flash of will, Avalon soon stands in his uniform and wriggles his fingers at Josh and Henry playfully as he says "I'll make it quick as I can."

Once the other teens are ready, he lifts them up and out of the house surrounded in a blue glow. Once free of the structure, Avalon sets his course and away they go, warping far faster than most could ever imagine traveling. The stars look like lines of light as they pass, whipping by at a dizzying speed.

Josh slips his arms around Henry as well, hiding his face against the Lantern. The proximity helps indeed, allowing him to focus better on the life. "Thanks," he murmurs. He keeps quiet during the trip though.

"I've got you," Henry promises. "Hold on. We're almost there..."

Thankfully, Odym isn't all that far away.. in the context of space sectors and traveling between them. It's a short flight for the teens encased in blue light, and soon they are slowing and coming up on a beautifully green and blue planet that looks much like Earth. The continents are different.. but it's got that same sort of "feel" to it for Josh.

The only difference is that there are few higher life forms, and many more animals. "Hey Josh.. Open your eyes and check it out.." Avalon says in a warm tone.

Josh smiles against Henry. "Thank you," he whispers again. When he picks up on the feeling of Odym, Josh gasps. Turning his head and cracking open an eye, the healer gasps again.

"Whoa," he says simply, staring.

"Toldja," Henry smirks, imagining how Josh sees this through his powers. "Lead the way, Blue..."

Laughing a bit at Josh's reaction, not in an ugly way but just more amused, Avalon flexes his wings and leads them down into the atmosphere at a sedate (for him) pace.

Soon the clouds open up around them, revealing bright green jungle and wild plant life. Odym is farther along on the evolutionary scale than Starhaven was, and so these jungles are more like the Amazon than Land of the Lost. Birds wheel in the skies around them, tipping their wings so that they may fly closer and check the teens out as they descend.

Avalon takes them down, and then starts to slide them through the warm air towards a more inhabited part of the planet. "I need to check in first, then I'm sure we can go exploring around for a bit. They won't need me till tomorrow." Avalon says with a big grin.

Josh's powers are certainly letting him see something interesting. A vibrant glow of sights and sounds along with a very bright and intense blue beacon. "Amazing..."

"Remind me never to doubt you, Henry," he teased a little, still holding tight.

"The feel of this place...it's like that island with the reef we visited cranked up."

Odym is the sort of place that most likely would remind one of sacred ground. The Blue Lanterns that reside here are all friendly and welcoming, and they make sure to greet Josh and Henry with great warmth.

There are few structures on Odym, even the Blue meeting and training places are formed from the natural features of the land. The only real buildings are those that serve as sleeping quarters for those that reside on the planet.

After checking in with his superiors, Avalon takes off with his friends, showing them around the planet and generally just goofing off. The animals are all half tame, and when the teens walk through the forested paths, they tend to end up followed by a small parade of deer and other woodland creatures. Some are even friendly enough to be allowed to be petted.

They make a stop at the central Battery, and then after finding a fruit grove and having lunch they go swimming. Life on Odym is in many ways idyllic, and it's easy to forget the hardships of every day life when you bathe in the pure presence of Hope.

The day wears long, and eventually the teens make their way back to the living area of the planet and end up spending the evening between sundown and bedtime around a fire, laughing and listening to stories told by the older Blues.

Josh certainly enjoys their stay on the planet. The wildlife and plants have him looking around excitedly. It's certainly among the times he's seemed most energetic and active outside of an emergency or the bedroom. He's not even nervous when they go swimming like he usually is, finding places to climb and dive.

Around the fire, he finishes an animated conversation with Brother Warth about healing and doctors in general before turning back to Henry and Ava. "This place is awesome. Making me curious what all the other Lantern Homeworlds are like."

"Well, Oa is pretty cool," Henry replies, leaning back and stretching out. "And Zamaron's where Carol lives most of the time. But, man, let's just say it's best to avoid the homeworlds of Red, Yellow, and Orange..."

Ava just nods his head in agreement to Henry's statement. "I've never been to those homewods, but I don't think that I would want to." he says. "Oa is nice though, even if I feel a bit out of place. They've always been polite enough to me, and I enjoy talking with the old timers."

He shifts his wings a bit, then reaches out with one and pokes at Josh's side as he grins and says "Maybe we can convince 'enry to take us to Oa sometime soon. It's a bit farther away, but that's not exactly a problem."

"How bad are those planets?" Josh asks curiously. "I know the Reds, Yellows, and Oranges are the bad guys but are their planets that bad?"

The healer squirms as he's poked. "Hey," he says, laughing a bit. "Maybe. I am getting better with space travel as long as I have you guys."

"Well, let's see... Ysmault is a dead world, except for the Red Lantern Corps and the lake of blood... and then there's Qward, which is in the antimatter universe..."

He looks to Josh. "Trust me. Oa's a much better place to go. But I don't think you'd like it as much as Odym."

"Every home world embodies it's color of the spectrum." Avalon says, "Oa is a lot more modern and ordered, it's Lantern green and black and beautiful in it's own right. The farther from green you get in the spectrum the less ordered and truly dangerous the homewold gets.". Yawning some, Ava adds "If we have time after my training, it would be nice to visit Oa."

Josh pales at the mention of a dead world with a lake of blood. "Please tell me that's just a name and not actually filled with blood..." he trails off, looking at both Lanterns.

"Shouldn't the yellow world be nice if its so close to Green then?" Josh was a little confused. Ava's yawn gets his attention quickly though. "Maybe it's time for bed..."

"Well, it's in the antimatter universe. So... no." Henry smirks. "And Zamaron's okay, because Carol's keeping an eye on it."

He looks around. "Yeah, we might want to hit the hay soon. Apparently, tomorrow's a big day!"

"Big for me.. all you guys gotta do is fly home without my warping.." Avalon teases a bit. He slips to his feet and then gives a stretch to his whole body. With a flutter of feathers he settles his wings against his back and then goes to offer a hand up to Josh and Henry both.

"Antimatter..." Josh trails off. He's not got much idea what that would be like. "I would hope the world that's home to the Love Corps would be nice," he shrugs.

The healer pales at the mention of an extended flight in space and swallows. Accepting the hand up, he nods a little. "Yeah...long way back."

"You'll be okay, Josh," Henry grins. "I'll fly you back naked if you think it'd help."

He's joking... mostly.

"Oh sure, you two go have fun on the trip back while I'm stuck in training." teases Ava, though it's all in good fun. He turns to the other Blues and places his own palm over his heart and gives them a short bow before bidding them goodnight, and then raises a brow as he turns back to Josh and Henry.

"I think they are letting us stay in my old room." he says, "Not like it's got any of my stuff there any more, but it's really comfy. I was told that we could also sleep late if we wished since tonight is obviously a social gathering."

Josh blushes furiously but grins. "If you do that, there might be distractions," he smirks and waggles his eyebrows a moment. He can play too.

The healer offers a wave to the other Blue Lanterns and then moves to follow Henry and Ava. "Sounds good to me, lead the way," he says. He doesn't plan on sleeping late but getting out of bed late is another story.
