Josh has a huge grin on his face and seems to be rather enjoying the close contact. "Hello, Ava!" he calls. "You're getting really good at dancing."

Not expecting his name to be called out, Ava blinks once, and then lets the momentum he's built up through movement wind down with a funny little twirl that ends with him sprawled in the grass. "What now?" he pants. "Oh yea. Hi guys!"

"You are," Henry agrees. "It's looking good!" He grins. "You should probably also learn how to grove on a dance floor, too, if we end up going dancing sometime." Henry swings his hips and takes a half dance-step. "Ballet is awesome and all, but it's hard to do if we're out clubbing or something."

Josh lets out a little 'eep' as he's unbalanced by the dance step but manages to keep from toppling himself and Henry. "You're both great dancers."

Ava just peers at Henry with a rather quizzical look before he says with a straight face "I'm not sure you want me to do that sort of dancing. It usually involves drums and fire and nudity - not great for dance floors." he then grins, "But thanks guys.. I'm trying really hard."

He sighs then, closing his eyes as he tries to get his breathing under control, his heart still racing as he asks "Did you guys have fun?"

"I did," Henry notes. He looks up at Josh and squeezes his hand. "How about you?"

Josh peers closely at Ava, 'watching' his heart and lungs carefully.

"Yeah. It was fun," he agrees, squeezing back.

Ava isn't hurt or anything, he's just winded himself. Who knows how long he's been out in the back yard dancing at this point - the alien is in good condition - at least the parts of him that are humanish anyways.

"That's fantastic.." says Ava breathlessly, before he then flashes the two of them a smile. "I just did homework till I couldn't read any more.. History is making my head hurt."

Henry nods. "I can help, if you want. I took Josh flying."

Josh smiles once he finishes making sure Ava's in good health. "History confuses me sometimes too."

"Flying is...amazing," he says.

Avalon just gives Josh a rather knowing smile, then nods his head for a moment in silent agreement. Flying is his ultimate joy.

"I am glad that Henry could share that with you.. I know that flight for me is a very different thing. Much slower." he then says. Avalon gives a laugh, then says in all honesty, "I am terrified to fly with you, Henry."

"So was Josh at first," Henry notes, glancing over his shoulder. "Right?"

Josh blushes furiously at the look Ava gives him. He looks away a moment and then smiles. "It's not about the speed, it's about the company," he murmurs.

The healer offers a sheepish smile when Henry glances at him. "Yeah. Really scared," he admits. "But trust us, Ava...there's no reason to be afraid."

"It isn't that I don't trust Henry." says Avalon. He then smiles a bit and shrugs, his expression sheepish as he says "It's the enclosed space. Well.. That and I've never flown - in atmosphere or space - outside of my own power."

He then rolls over onto his belly, his smile wide as he says "But I'm glad that you guys had fun. Maybe Henry can convince me to go one days." Ocean eyes move over towards Henry, and Ava flashes him a bit of a playful smirk.

Henry grins. "I can be very persuasive," he winks.

Then he pauses, as if something just came to him. "Oh! There's something I wanted to talk to you guys about... both of you. Without Kat."

His expression turns serious.

"I never flew before at all unless it was with you," Josh remarks. "Unless falling off a building counts..." he trails off.

When Henry goes serious, Josh blinks and offers a concerned expression. "What is it?"

Ava just blinks at the sudden change in Henry's persona. "Yea.. what's up?" he asks.

"I went out for pizza yesterday with Kat's old prince-ex. Alerron. He's the son of the old-school Titan Starfire, a Tamaranean princess, and Sodam Yat, a Daxamite Green Lantern, and one of the greatest Green Lanterns we've ever had. Almost as great as my dad."

Josh blinks and looks to Ava when Henry mentions going out with Alerron. "Okay. So he's a hero kid too. That's kind cool..." the healer trails off.

Avalon frowns a bit, then goes to sit up as he pushes a hand through his hair. "So he's royalty - as I suspected." he then states. "I suspect there's more?"

"His mom's been captured by her evil sister. She's bad news." Henry frowns. "I've got a message out to Sodam Yat to contact me as soon as he's able, so we can get a team together to go save her." He looks to Ava. "I know it's out of our sector, but..."

Josh blinks several times and then runs a hand through his hair. "Not what I thought was about to be said," he mumbles. "Alright. So we go as soon as he gets back to you?"

Avalon just crinkles his nose some and is silent for a moment. After thinking things over, he gives his head one firm nod and then says "I understand the need - plus the Titans are in our sector, are they not? I want to help Starfire - even if I do not trust her son yet." he replies.

"I don't fully either," Henry replies. "...he doesn't like root beer." He shoots a grin to the two guys. "Seriously, Kat trusts him. I don't see a reason not to trust him right now, though I'm still skeptical about releasing that one captain." He drops his voice. "But if it's some sort of trap, we might need to be ready... and we'll need to plan for Kat trusting him."

"I don't know enough about him to trust him or not," Josh admits. "Just wanna know why he kissed me all of a sudden," he mutters, blushing.

"I hope it's not a trap..." he trails off, letting the Lanterns handle planning and the like.

Avalon stands up and comes over to Josh, patting him on the back as he smiles at the boy. "I hope it's not a trap as well, but even if it is, we'll deal with it. One can not be surprised when they are expecting it."

Henry grins. "But you can't be prepared for everything," he replies. "I taught Batman that one." He turns to Josh. "Oh, and I learned what that kiss was about. It's how he learned the local language. Apparently, Tamaranians absorb languages that way."

Josh blinks. "That's...kinda weird. Atleast it was a nice kiss," he says. "What did you do to Batman?" he asks curiously. There's then a nod. "Well, at least I'll sense an ambush coming unless they use robots or zombies..." he shudders. "I hate zombies."

Avalon just gives a bit of a snort, and then shakes his head a bit as he sighs. "I can't help but express my hope that this is not against our best interests. Alerron is not why I do this, but because I honor his mother. As much as I trust Katima's judgment of him, I also think she is a bit blinded by her love and may not see him as he is now, but instead how he once was."

Henry shrugs. "Maybe, Blue. I dunno." He turns to Josh. "I don't think Blackfire has any connections to the space vampires. As for zombies... zombies were how I met dad. And as for what I did to Batman?" He grins. "Well, he was telling me about how he was prepared for anything. So I did this."

He grabs Josh, pushes him somewhat back, still holding him, and lays a deep, passionate kiss on Josh's lips.

"I just hope Katima doesn't get hurt," Josh says quietly.

"Space...vampires?" Josh blinks. "Why not?" he shrugs. "And I thank the zombies for that but otherwise they just hurt my head," he says.

Ava blinks a bit as Henry pounces Josh, and then flushes and shakes his head in idle amusement. He just drifts back a bit, giving them space to .. do whatever.

"And then he punched me," Henry explains. "It was totally worth it, though."

Josh is a bit dazed at first. "Oh..." he trails off. "Batman is ungrateful then..." he trails off.

He turns to Avalon. "Oh, and Avalon? You're going to be the drummer."

Josh stays quiet on the matter of Batman. He knows little of the guy. When Henry brings up the drumming, Josh goes red.

"For our rock band," Henry replies. "Josh'll sing, I'm guitar, I figured you'd be drums and Kat can be bass!"

Chuckling some, Ava just shakes his head a bit in amusement and then shrugs and says "Yea.. okay.. why not?" he snickers some, "Though I'm used to hand drums.. not the stick kind that the game takes."

"You'll learn," Henry replies with a smile. "It'll be fun! We'll have to design our guys, though." He ponders. "I think I'll have a green spiked mohawk."
