1. Cassidy /still/ hasn't figured out why she said yes when he asked her out, but when she mentioned having a surprise for him, he didn't question it further.
2. They went out for pizza, which made him happy. He enjoyed the simple foods in life, and he likes Tamara's smile.
3. They talk about a lot of things, like their powers, and their families. He explains his life, such as it is to her, as she just smiles, not judging or saying anything.
4. Eventually, she tells him that she enjoys his company, and that she'd like to take him somewhere that his mutation is a gift, rather than an issue.
5. She introduces him to her friends and they make beautiful music together. Cassidy considers Tamara one of his best friends.
