1. Barda challenged Alerron to an arm-wrestling match just before he and Hope were set to leave. The match lasted three hours with no clear winner. This earned him Barda's respect.
2. Alerron learned about Boom Tubes and informed Hope that she had the most awesome tool in the universe.
3. Having missed dinner, Alerron and Hope were not exactly sad. Once they realized that neither of them truly needed to eat, they decided to find something else to do.
4. Alerron's first barfight left him exhilarated and made him want more in the way of combat.
5. They spent the rest of the evening bar crawling across the cosmos before returning to the Normanday with Thanagarian ale the promise of a second date.
