The Sun Always Rises [02 Aug 2011|12:26am]
The Sun Always Rises

1. Theia was resurrected when the other Titans were freed from Tartarus specifically her former husband Hyperion. Theia watched as the other Titans went on their rampages or simply watched events. She thought they were all very foolish. She went back into hiding building up power and reestablishing herself back on earth once more.

2. Seeing the flaws in her plans from her last attempt to take Olympus. Theia decides rather than having demigod children that she could try and control she gods to find mortals to gift with powers that she could easily take away. Her Warriors of the Sun.

3. Theia has her Sun Warriors go after and distract anyone who could be a threat to her plans mainly demi-gods and the Amazons. This also keeping the gods eyes on her warriors rather than on her. She also secretly imprisons Hestia, Hephaestus, and Apollo the only gods capable of counteracting her powers in some capacity.

4. Theia however does personally go after Lilith Clay her daughter who was heavily involved with her defeat last time. Lilith is visiting at the Teen Titans HQ. Theia attacks Lilith which leads to a short and quick battle between her and the Teen Titans which ends in the Teen Titans defeat and Theia having captured Lilith.

5. Their defeat a Theia's hands really makes them start looking into what is going on and the find out that the action of the Warriors of the Sun are connected to Theia. If they talk to Zeus or the other Olympians they might find out that Apollo, Hephaestus, and Hestia have gone missing.

6. The Teen Titans actions put pressure on Theia's plans and she moves ahead her timetable. Theia promises the Cyclopes a position of power when she takes over in exchange for weapons for her warriors. Theia then along with her warriors attacks Olympus and successes in taking the throne of Olympus from Zeus gaining all the power that comes with it.

7. Hermes escapes long enough to deliver a message letting someone know whats happened in Olympus.

8. With this information Titans East and West team up to deal with this and save Olympus. One big squadron goes to Olympus to try and save the Gods there and three other little ones to rescue the gods imprisoned elsewhere by Theia.

9. The fight in Olympus goes poorly at first but as they free more gods and Lilith the battle starts to go in their favor. When Theia realizes she's lost she retreats with her warriors to fight another day.

Jack Loren [10 Jun 2011|09:48pm]
Name: Jack Loren

PB: Matthew McNulty

History: Jack never knew his dad growing up his had having been hospitalized before he was born. He grew up fairly happily though not to well off but his mom never hit him or anything. However when he came into his psychic powers that all changed as he was not prepared for it and couldn't control his abilities driving him mad. His abilities led to him finding out who his father was and ho his grandfather was. He decided he wasn't revenge on his grandfather and all those involved with his father's downfall.

Powers: Jack a telepath of some skill. Normally though all he is capable of is telepathic communication and reading surface thoughts. His telepathy is different from most though whenever he is near another psychic he can automatically steal their psychic power and add it to his own leaving them powerless until they can get away from him. This doesn't give him access to their powers or anything just make his own powers stronger by their level of power. Also even if a psychic is not close to him but they try to use their powers on him he will automatically take their power from them before they can even do anything leaving them powerless for about an hour and give him a power up for about the same amount of time. If he gets close enough for his normal psychic power steal to work then he can continue to keep their power after the time limit uninterrupted until they can escape. When he is empowered Jack shows great skill at mind control and mental illusions.

Blue Bird [14 Apr 2011|02:45am]
Blue Bird

PB: Lincoln Lewis

History: Blue Bird was created in much the same way that Kestrel was created though by two Lords of Order instead. Blue Bird is a being of extreme order who wants to force order on what it sees as a chaotic universe and is willing to do whatever it takes to do so. While not its primary goal it also will work to undermine the Hawk and Dove project when it can to prove that chaos and order cannot work together. It also wants to make other agents of order or people who tap into the power of order to it’s way of thinking which is rather authoritarian and oppressive.

Blue Bird is currently possessing a High School Senior and captain of his baseball team by the name of Jake Brooks. He has already gotten several scholarship offers for college for baseball and is very much looking forward to it. He has no idea that he is currently possessed by Blue Bird though has noticed some black out but doesn't currently think to much about them.

Blue Bird has been know to possess other people to more easily complete it's goals but always seems to like to come back to Jake for some reason.

Powers: Blue Bird has standard Dove powers but at a much more powerful level. Blue Bird is also capable of possessing people which it needs to do to work in this plane. Blue Bird is capable of switching back and forth with its host form and personality and its own state and personality. Blue Bird is also very hard to effect with order magic though a significant amount of power can do so. Someone very skilled at magic might be able to detect the presence of Blue Bird in its host if they looked for it but otherwise remains undetectable when not out.

Don app [12 Nov 2010|12:45am]
PLAYER: Paul

CHARACTER NAME: Donald "Don" Hall
CHARACTER LJ: neutral_ground
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:  Don is 5'10" and weighs roughly 160lbs.  He has brown hair and blue eyes.
AGE: Seventeen
BIRTHDAY: April 1
CODENAME: Middleman
PB: Kevin Zegers

ABILITIES:  Don was born between the conflicting orders of Chaos and Order, and is thus Neutral, and has the power to make things "neutral".  When he is in the general vicinity of danger, his power instates a law that "both sides are equal" and thus downsizes or upgrades the collective powers of all involved in the conflict to make things "equal" or "fair".  For those who have no powers and are facing those with powers, the power of one opponent is redistributed in order to even the odds.  In times when power cannot be evenly redistributed, all power is taken away.

Don is a skilled martial artist.  Don also possesses a vast mystical potential, both of Order and Chaos.

WEAKNESSES/FLAWS:  Don does not have any control of his power, and it only becomes active when there is danger around him (Don does not have to be the one in danger).  Don's power does not affect natural skills or intellect, or anything mechanically engineered.  If Don ever attempted to hone his potential for magic, he would have to choose which order to follow, thus breaking his neutrality and eliminating his initial power.  There are beings that cannot be affected by Don's power (the obvious being the likes of Gods, Lords of Chaos and Order, etc.)

Test Scene [31 Oct 2010|09:35pm]

Jarrod hadn’t seen any of his friends in the titans in a while having left the team for a while to do work on other things. Jarrod used his powers to look into the future to find an easy way to meet up with someone and got a park in Keystone City that would work well for running into someone at 4:16 in the afternoon today.

In a swirl of teleportation Jarrod appeared where he foresaw he should 4:16 only to find a bunch of thugs run towards him much to his and their surprise.

App [31 Oct 2010|02:44am]

Player (nickname, handle)/ LJ: Matt
Email: mbeck46@cox.net
AIM (if you have one):
Character Name: Jarrod Hall
Character LJ (if applicable):

Physical description (face, build, weight): Jarrod is 5’ 8” and still growing a little and 158lbs. Jarrod is blond with blue eyes.
Age: 17
Birthday: September 21
Codename (if using one):
PB: (If using one.)Chad Michael Murry

Abilities:  His abilities are a mixture of metahuman and mystical mainly sourced in order but there is ambiguity to them too.

Telepathy: Jarrod is a high level telepath who can read minds, transplant and alter memories and thoughts and generate mental illusions among other things.

Precognitive: Jarrod is a high level precog who can predict the future with a good level of accuracy by going into a trance and can get vibes or feeling about what’s going to happen outside of a trance.

Teleportation: Through intense concentration he can teleport a team of people anywhere on the planet with a swirling effect.

Telekinesis: He has low-level telekinesis which under optimal conditions can effect up to 50 lbs but typically caps out at 25 lbs

Remote Viewing:  Jarrod can use his psychic powers to see what’s happening in faraway places.

Calming aura: Jarrod can create a calming aura that can extend up to 20 feet away from him that mellows people out and makes it hard for people to want to fight.

Connection to Order:  Jarrod has not demonstrated any use of this other than to stabilize his powers but presumably has great untapped mystical potential.

Basic Combat Training:  While not especially skilled in fighting Jarrod was taught a bit of how to fight by his Uncle Hank who wanted to ensure his nephew could at least throw a good punch.

Weaknesses and flaws: Jarrod can be hurt like any other normal human. While he can see into the future it is not guaranteed to come to pass though tends to be highly likely and becomes less certain the farther into the future he looks. Many times what he sees of the future comes out like prophecies making it hard to tell what they are really talking about. His vibes on things tend to be very general, though he can tell how serious it is.

Character location/Home: Mobil
Alignment (villain, hero etc): hero
Team: Titans
Relatives (living/dead?):Lilith Clay- Mother, Don Hall-Father(Deseased) Loren Jupiter-Grandfather, Unknown- Maternal Grandmother, Jarrod Jupiter- Uncle, Mr. and Mrs. William Clay- Adoptive Granparents, George Hall-Grandfather, Rae Hall-Grandmother, Hank Hall-Uncle, James Penfield- Great Uncle

Backstory: The son of Don Hall and Lilith Clay, Jarrod was conceived just before Don died never having known Lilith was pregnant. Lilith herself didn’t know till after Don had died when she looked into the future to see how best to could deal with Don’s death and saw by raising their child.

Lilith didn’t ask for help raising Jarrod though she did get a lot from her friends in the titans and even some support from Don’s family especially his brother Hank after he met Dawn Granger who evened him from how he had been with Don dead.

Jarrod was raised in a loving environment and taught to always give peace a chance. Lilith for the most part retired though when she foresaw her friends would need her would always do so. Jarrod grew up around the other Titan kids.

While not always around Jarrod has a knack for showing up when he needs to like his mother. When he is not doing up heroing work he can often be found doing volunteer work or helping out those less fortunate

How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: Jarrod grew up with the Titans but has not been around lately and just shows up at the front door.

What are you planning to do with this character?: Jarrod is going to try to reconnect with the Titans after being away for so long. He will do work with the Titans in general.

What do you want to see happen with this character?: Jarrod’s ability to see the future is a heavy burden that he does not like to let people know about and would like to do something related to that. Jarrod can be a bit shy and closed in and would like to draw him out of his shell.
