Even though they had known each other since the first day of school, thanks to being sorted into the same house, Ally Didn't really take notice of Sam until the middle of sixth year. Too busy focusing on her crush on Archie, and then dating Tony in fifth year didn't leave much focus for anyone until then. But all of a sudden the funny boy who had just always been around, was tutoring her little sister. Obviously she had to make sure he was on the up and up. After making excuses to talk to him more, Ally realized that just maybe she had wasted a little to much time on that older Gryffindor boy.
Started dating: September 30th, 1974
Allyson, due to reasons she'd rather not discuss tyvm, had always had a fear of rejection. Four and a half years of crushing on a boy and she still couldn't manage to strike up a conversation with him. While it was easier with Sam, they were already friends, she couldn't gather the nerve to suggest that maybe they should be a bit more. Not that it would really matter, as her mother certainly wouldn't approve of the muggleborn boy, no matter how kind or smart or attractive or over all perfect he was. Lucky for her Dimitri was kind enough to shove Sam enough hints (not so much hints more like YOU SHOULD ASK HER OUT) that he asked her out to the first Hogsmeade weekend of their Seventh year. Allyson had so much fun, she decided it didn't quite matter what her mother thought, Sam Davies was the most perfect man alive.
Proposed: September 30th, 1975
Being the utter romantic Samuel Davies was, he proposed on their one year anniversary proclaiming that a year was more than enough time for him to know that he had found the love of his life. Allyson couldn't be happier than agree.
Married: April 7, 1976
While their engagement was short, it was certainly not stress free. Allyson spent most of the months arguing with her mother and pleading with her father. Both who has such high hopes that she would end up with a nice pureblood wizard (like that Arcturus MacMillan she had spent so many years talking about). Patrick gave in first, stating if she truly loved this boy that was what most important. He just wanted her to be happy. After that her mother begrudgingly gave her blessing as well, while Ally pretended not to see the tell tell signs of the beginnings of a fight she had learned to pick up over the years.

Andre asked her out to dinner for his birthday. Secretly, breaking the rules to ask her out, was a present to himself. He was quite please when she agreed. Even if she specifically said it was not a date and the only reason she was going was because it would be sad and pathetic for him to eat alone on his birthday.
Proposed: June 9, 1971
Married: February 29, 1972
Both of them being in love with their jobs as they were with each other, they had agreed that getting married on Leap day was the best solution to the fact neither of them could easily take time off work. Technically they only had an anniversary every four years. Perfect.
