I was queuing for a portkey back home this past weekend (I was visiting Greece on business, mind you ) and I was stuck between this most atrocious smelling lady (though I would not truly call her a lady for no woman should ever smell like that) and a bloke who would not stop speaking in mixed metaphors. I am sure he was trying to prove to me how well he has learned English, but he sounded completely bonkers out of his gourd. I think English transportation is organised much better.

Next week I travel to southern Portugal, which should provide some amusement as well as get me out of this dreary winter weather.

[Estella] Estella, I have a few items for your son and step-son that I found in a bazaar in Athens I believe they will enjoy. Would you care to have tea sometime this week so that I may give them to you?

This is why you should evade all attempts to engage in conversation with the bystanders.

If only there was a line for well-to-doers.

I said nothing to him, he decided that I was his new mate and that he should tell me where he was going and what food he would like to eat in a completely unintelligible way.

I think I shall be using a different service to arrange my portkeys from now on.
