This weekend has been amazing, amazing, amazing.
So Liza slept over Sunday night. We packed and got ready and played Mario Party which, ahem, I won. We left early Monday morning and we were kindof concerned because it was raining here, but four and a half hours later, thanks to the GPS, we pulled up right in front of the hotel. We got out and got out room, and were off to Times Square. It was Liza's first time in NYC, so we went to the MTV store and things like that, and then went to Hard Rock Cafe and saw all this cool stuff. From there we were off to China Town, and it was really shifty. All the Chinese vendors just like whisper in your ear "Handbag? Coach? Gucci? Vuitton handbag?" I ended up getting a perfume- Daisy, by Marc Jacobs- and my dad talked the guy selling it from 60$ to 30$. I thought that was kindof cool. We went in this cute shop too and I got a shirt. Then back to the hotel and we were tired and achey, so my dad brought back a "plethera" of food- including something from the "Beef Bowl" which we got a kick out of.
Then Tuesday we got an early start at this cute French restraunt, then walked around some more. A quick Starbucks stop and we looked so cute, haha. We walked down fifth avenue and went to Louis Vuitton and Tiffany's and H&M and a big Abercrombie that was five stories high. 5th Ave. ended at Central Park, so we took a horse and carrige (sp? I'm having issues.) ride and walked around and Liza (in a very sexy way!) hailed her first cab. We went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and back to the hotel. Liza and I had interesting conversations with George in the hotel room about sex sex and more sex, while my parents were out, then they came back with Nasty. She blends right in the city, with all her make up and boots and such. We all went downtown to the MTV store and Liza and I bought matching shirts, then we went to Little Italy, where we had delicious food, oh my god.
And the streets are just buzzing at night. It's almost busier at midnight than it is at two in the afternoon. It was just so, so much fun. I cannot wait to go back! I'm thinking April vacation, whaaaat? There was still so much we wanted to do but didn't have time for.
And this week I'm going up to go see Sara. I miss her! Oh, but I took about ten million pictures. Maybe I'll upload some good ones here, who knows.
But now James is here and we're off to eat our homemade pizza and watch Family Guy, later! |
