First off, Anastacia left! Early this morning my mom took her to the bus station and bam, that's the end of her. I'm so excited! Well she comes back in a month, for her deposition. And then who knows what will happen. But anyway, I went out and picked up James around eight-thirty. We came back here and left and got to Providence around ten, just in time for the first informational meeting thing. I love this school, oh my God. There were these two tour gides that were hilarious and made it fun the entire time. It was snowing lightly too and it made the campus look so cute. They kept saying it looked so empty because there aren't many classes on Friday mornings, and no college student is awake before noon. We saw the gym and the nursing building and the dining hall and this cute little cafe place. It's all sort of overwhelming, but it was fun. We even saw one of the girl's dorms, and it was so cool. It's called a suite kindof dorm, and if I went there, that's what I'd want. It has a common room, and eight to ten single bedrooms off of that. That way before you know anyone in your classes or anything you have other people to hang out with. Not to mention the rooms were so cute! Ah, I don't feel like looking at any other colleges. I loved this one. Because we're out of the twenty mile radius of Providence, we count as out of state. But everthing totals to about 20k, room and board and all that. But that's before financial aid, so who knows!
I'm so excited to leave here. I don't want to be this lame teenage cliche saying OH I HATE IT HERE I NEED TO LEAVE but honestly, I'm sick of it. I'm sick of the people, mostly. The people and seeing the same thing everyday and just being here. I'm so excited for the change of scenery, even if it's a year and a half away.
But then James and my parents and I went to The Cheesecake factory, and it was delicious as usual. And I called Liza and we're going to go out tonight, probably to her house. She bought apples-to-apples so we might need to recruit her boyfriend George so we can play! |
