If it isn't one thing, it's usually something else. I'm sure Professor Trelawney would say that everything that is going on is happening because of some phase of the moon, a grim is after all of us, or because things happen in certain numbers. While it's been proven that things can happen in certain sequences, it's usually a coincidence most of the time.

To-Do List
- Revise for Exams
- Owl Mum and Dad
- Harry and Ginny are fighting; is there any way of fixing this?
- Organise packing to go home
- Harry's not sleeping; he's having nightmares again
- Ron.
- Finish Dobby and Winky's scarves and hats
- Christmas Presents
- Rounds
- Head Girl Duties
- Tutoring

What would make it intriguing? It's just a list.

You are so brilliant! I told Professor Sprout that you and Ernie are such good examples for all of us prefects in terms of orginisation and control of oneself. I really appreciate that! Though I daresay that your list lacks the reminders to have fun, Hermione! You need to take time to play some wizard chess or dance or oh! Hermione, what if you sang as you did your work, wouldn't that be lovely? If you engage the right side of your brain, it really allows your left-sided activities to go much smoother, it's why they encourage listening to music like Beethoven, though I think that you can listen to any music that gives you energy and rhythm, that makes everything go so much quicker and makes it more fun, it's like having a bowl of ice cream for your soul as you while away.

Thank you, Gelsey, that was very nice of you to say. I have read before that listening to music stimulates the other side of the brain, but it's sometimes hard to listen to anything other than instrumental because it's awfully distracting hearing those words and having the words for a certain essay running through one's head. That's partially one of the reasons as to why I avoid doing homework in the common room during the day - someone always has the WWW on.
