Name: Ariadne Barton-Strange
PB: Missy Peregrym
In the future, against the odds she would give herself on the whole topic, Frances 'Hawkeye' Barton gave birth to fraternal twins and raised them with their father, Orlen Strange. The daughter, Ariadne, began showing proficiency for the mystical arts as she went through childhood. She was transported to Orlen's old rooms for studying and training with her abilities. However, it upset the girl to be separated from her family, so she returned often to their dimension to stay near by. During a clash with a dark magic user, Orlen and his allies struggled to keep the Eye of Agamotto out of the enemy's clutches. Given to her for transport and safekeeping, the girl concocted a spell to 'conceal' the Eye from the seeker by hiding it in herself.
Unfortunately, after the battle, Ariadne could not get the Eye back out. Whether by her own traits or by a technicality in the spell, the talisman cannot be retrieved from her. Capable of granting true sight, casting an all-revealing light and showing the past, the Eye of Agamotto can be sometimes accessed by its accidental keeper to empower her own spells or divine the truth around a thing or event, to give her 'pointers', but it's aid is fickle as she is not yet a master of the arts.
Abilites: (Without the Eye) Ariadne is considered a journeyman in the white arts, competent in her skills enough to combat threats. Adept at astral projection, hypnotism and illusions, she is capable of producing mystic bolts and shields, of object summoning and transmutation. She is reliant on gestures or incantations to invoke powers and spells, which can be used against her. Her mother also insisted she learn martial arts, giving her the ability to defend herself physically. The Eye (if it feels like cooperating) can boost a spell, dispel illusions and lies, or help replay the past. If it feels like helping her. Sometimes it just give her spell hiccups.
