1) The Order of Robin Goodfellow accidently wakes up a very old dragon. They are forced to flee from his wrath at being woken up by tasty crunchy mortals and in the process wake up a second dragon.
Together these two dragons decide that it is time to wake up their fellows because humanity has grown too large for their own good.
2) Dragons attacks! Several recently woken dragons attack prominent places across the globe.
One attacks Tokyo Tower.
Another Rodeo Drive.
One invades Boston Harbor.
New York City gets attacked by one.
And a big dragon tries to take over Seattle as it likes the city for some reason.
Each dragon is defeated but not without trouble. Whoever happens to be in the city when it is attacked can join in.
3) A second dragon attacks the Defenders compound. This time it was sent there by Loki who bribed it with a gold chalice.
The Defenders win this fight as well and decide to find out why the dragons are active.
4) With the help of other teams they find the big elder dragon and the team leaders try to get it to stop waking dragons up.
The elder is Fafnir and tries to refuse ad attack so they are forced to fight it to a stand still forcing the dragon to agree to go back into hibernation. This stops the other Norse dragons from waking up.
