APPEARANCE;Jack is a very attractive boy and know it. Okay he is drop-dead gorgeous and knows it even more. He's pure smoldering sex and prettily poured into a six foot mold, with eyes that very particular shade of cliché bluish green and a dazzling, way too perfect smile, which is far too charming and engaging for most to resist. He has dark naturally curly hair when he lets his hair grow long, which is often. His favorite item of clothing is a brown leather jacket, an item he could not live without. But he likes his comfort too and he can often be found sporting well-worn jeans and thread bare t-shirts, but making them look good. He likes the clubs and going out too, and then he'll typically go for some classic black leather. He stays in good shape and works out regularly, including quite a bit of horse back riding and archery, and his favourite, soccer. He has his left ear pierced. He's tall and muscular, but lean, making him seem a bit taller than he is, and he is a charming social person who can be quite people magnet.
PB; Trent Ford
FAMILY;Father - William Montague / Mother - Kathryn Jones) / 1/2 Brother - John Montague (4 years older) / StepFather - Derek Allison
PERSONALITY; He is brilliant and usually it's not he who is the first to say it. He is a bit narcissistic at times. When he's stressed Jack gets migraines and falls into depressive moods. He wants to have friends, those he can just be Jack the person with and hang out. Jack loves to learn about just about everything. History is his passion and he's always has an amazing aptitude for languages, and discovered very young that he was a talented artist as well. He speaks English, Spanish, and French fluently and is conversational in Italian and German. Most importantly, he can order a beer in Czech, Greek, Russian and Portuguese as well.
Jack also likes a bit of gambling and at times can be found playing poker or blackjack if the mood suits him. He thinks of himself as bisexual, and his mother has always accepted it as part of who he is. Jack can be lethally charming, using his good looking to get his way, and can also be utterly captivating, a big flirt but cunning as well. He shoots from the hip, and often doesn't fully think things out before jumping headfirst into a situation. He doesn't take to authority well. Jack puts on a good face, but deep down he does feel abandoned and unwanted by the father that he's never really known.
He has a very fast and loose view on sexuality, finding absolutely nothing wrong with having his default setting stuck on 'always' when it comes to wanting and getting it. He has a 'try anything once' approach to sex and doesn't see the point in limiting himself in the people he sees and has relationships with either. He just fancies everybody, though he harbours feelings for certain friends that remain unresolved.
HISTORY; Jack Carter Montague was born in London to William DeMaurier Montague, business and social mogul, and his mistress, American born Kathryn Isabella Carter-Jones. He is the second son, following older 1/2 brother John DeMaurier Montague who is four years older. He is of French, English, and Spanish descent.
William's family is one of the wealthiest families in the UK since the mid 1840s. Jack's father is a highly successful British businessman and politician. Aside from the family trust, the majority of William Montague's money comes from breeding and racing thoroughbreds. The profits of those sales have made Montague, and his family, financially secure for the foreseeable future. Jack's father turned that money into more money buying property and real estate. For William it is all about appearance and social position and officially acknowledging an illegitimate son was not in the plans.
Kat left England when Jack was 8, moving back to her home in Providence. Much that she cared for William, or thought that she did, she had Jack and he was more precious to her than anything. Her parents were there and it was her comfort zone. They weren't upper class but they were fairly well off; Jack wanted for nothing as a child. Kathryn raised him in America but she made sure he knew his English and French heritage. He knew his father was in England and if he wanted to see him, Kat wasn't going to stop him.
But Jack didn't want to see him. He didn't want to get taken away from his mom, from his life in Rhode Island. When he was 12, his mom married and Jack is very close to his step-father, thinking him more of a father figure than he's ever had. He was teacher who pushed Jack in his studies but only to achieve his potential.
As Jack got older, he went through a bit of the teenage rebelling, but it mostly manifested in acting out, staying out late, nothing too extreme, even if it did alarm his parents. It was clear as he moved through high school that though his family wasn't wanting, getting into college would require a bit of help. For a brief moment Jack considered going to his father, his real father and asking for money but his pride was too strong so he worked hard, and found scholarship after scholarship to apply against.
All through school he excelled; he liked school even if he didn't like studying. He's one of those people who doesn't have to study too much to retain the information. It allowed him to focus on his sports, his art and his music. He didn't want to be forced to give up any of them. It was quite a surprise when the office of the scholarship came from Priore University. He had only set that one on a whim. It was an amazing school with great art, history and music departments. Plus it was close to home... just not too close. He struggled hard with the decision to accept it or not. But in the end, he did. A degree from the school would no doubt open doors to him in the future. It would allow him to help his family and be successful once he was done.
Four years isn't that long, right?
