PERSONALITY: Al was a shy child when he was younger, always in the shadow of his famous parents or his loud, more outgoing brother James. He was told on more than on occasion, from those who knew her, that he was much like his grandmother Lily. Albus is quiet and reserved, often keeping his feelings to himself. He wants to be a good man like his father, who is his hero and idol, but he wants to play Quidditch as well as his mom. He has taken to the good aspects of the Slytherin traits, showing that cunning and ambition are not always a bad thing. He is also determined and independent, self-reliant and loyal. Albus sometimes feels like an outcast in the family because he's the only one not in Gryffindor besides his cousin Louis.
He is fiercely supportive of his family, not just his parents and brother and sister, but to his aunts, uncles and cousins ing said, he embraces his position in Slytherin and is loyal to the house wanting to make it the best before his time at Hogwarts is over. Al still has a chip on his shoulder for not only being Harry Potter's son, but also half-blood and placed in Slytherin. His years at school have not always been easy but he's persevered.
Albus is studious and likes learning most things, especially Muggles. He was very inquisitive as a child and very curious about the world Aunt Hermione came from and loved hearing about those things.
On the pitch, he's grown into his own more than anywhere. It never crossed his mind that he wouldn't play Quidditch and then to make captain as well, he was truly happy. He is a strong, passionate leader, who pushes his team just enough to prove they can do it and are as good as he thinks they are, but isn't a tyrant. That's just not his nature. Albus is a hard competitor though; he loves the game, loves playing and competition, which can lead to trouble, but then again, one can't be good all the time, can they?
Despite being in Slytherin, Albus has inherited some of the Gryffindor traits from both his parents. He sometimes will act before thinking, act brave and put others before himself.

HISTORY: Albus Severus Potter is the 2nd child and son born to Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley Potter. He has one older brother James and a younger sister named Lily. As if growing up as the son of Harry Potter wasn't enough pressure and infamy, he's the middle child, following very outgoing James. He has a very close relationship with is father as well as his cousin Rose, the daughter of Ron and Hermione. James is quite gregarious and pushes Al around, and for a long time early on, Al just takes it, argues yes but doesn't really fight back. It doesn't seem to be in his nature.
At first he thought it was great pressure to be named after such two great men, but he learned about them, talked to his father and decides that being in Slytherin is a blessing not a curse as some would think. Albus Dumbledore was a great wizard and more importantly was a favourite person of Harry's, and Severus Snape loved Albus' grandmother throughout his life and protected Harry til the day he died.
It was never a question that Albus would get his letter to Hogwarts and on his 11th birthday, it did indeed come to the house. James was already at school along with a few of their cousins, and Rose looked to be in the same class as him as well. He was nervous about school and James was terrible at teasing him, that he'd get sorted into Slytherin and Al was scared. But Harry told him about his namesakes then, showing just how much he respected Severus Snape, not only a Slytherin, but it's one time head of the house.
Al changes when he gets to school but for the better. He does get sorted into Slytherin, along with the Malfoy children to name a few; he becomes roommates with Benjamin Goyle, and he embraces life at school. He slowly breaks out of his shyness though some does still remain. He's smart and funny, has a wicked and sarcastic sense of humour and as he's gotten older, no longer lets James push him around, even though he does still act like the older brother.
Right away he excels in Transfiguration, Potions and Spells. He likes Muggles Studies but for the learning, he doesn't so much like testing on it. He tries out for the Quidditch team and makes a spot, mostly as a reserve Chaser in his first year but was on the team come the following year, and in his 5th year he was make team captain, a position he still holds in his 7th year.
Albus made friends in his house, some more unexpected than usual. Not being in Gryffindor allowed him to overcome his shyness and insecurity of not living up to his family's name as well of his extended family too. He was still overshadowed by James and Harry's reputations but he made a name for himself and Al is finding his own identity, in school, with friends, in Quidditch.
He hasn't thought too much about what he wants to do once he leaves Hogwarts. He's an excellent Quidditch player and following his mother would be such an honour. But he likes potions as well as potions and spells so he knows there are job opportunities in the Ministry as well. But he doesn't want to think about it too much; he just wants to enjoy school and will take things as they come.
PHYSICAL: Albus is tall, having grown a great deal between 3rd and 4th year, and to his joy, made him taller than his brother James too. He has dark brown, practically black hair and bright very green eyes that he inherited from his father and grandmother. Though looking very much like the Potter side of his family, Al most definitely has his mother's smile and laugh, which can often be contagious. He doesn't really think he is drop dead gorgeous; he is still the lanky geeky child in his mind, even now. Albus is very fit as befitting a Quidditch player and athlete. Albus has a longish scar on his arm from roughing around with his cousins at the Burrow when he was child.

other. Third person roleplaying It was a chilly winter morning and most students were moving quickly through the halls to get to class room but not Albus Potter. Oh he was on his way to class but he wasn't going quickly at all. Divination wasn't his best class and he dreaded it all the time. He couldn't just not go. Harry and Ginny Weasley's son skipping class and/or failing it, yeah that would go over well. James would never let him live it down. Lily wouldn't be so bad but still, it just wasn't worth it.
He thought about finding one of uncle George's trick spells. It could be something that would turn him purple, or make him sick for just a while. But then again, he couldn't exactly do that every week that class came up. Al sighed. Part of the problem was that he didn't have a knack for it, and part of the problem was that he didn't see the point, not really.
Maybe if he was a first or second year, he'd go hide out and hope for the best. But as a 7th year, a Quidditch captain, etc ad naseum, he couldn't just hide in the bathroom or the Slytherin common room. Al would just have to face the music and deal with the outcome.
No one was perfect right? If he did badly in class he just wouldn't take the OWLs or NEWTs for Divination. That wouldn't be too bad. Al would focus on the other things he did very very well and that would be the end of it. Albus moved away from the windows and headed down the hallway, back on his way to class. He passed by Rose and her friends, smiling and waving to his cousin. He smiled at her friends too, only to have them giggle and wave back. Girls, seriously. Al just laughed and continued on his way.
First Person roleplaying: That was such an awesome game. Despite the rain and wind, we won. It was a long game with a few close calls but we came out with the win in the end. Wes got the Snitch... almost hit the ground too but he got it.
Better than I did. Nothing serious, just took the curve a bit too sharp and knocked into the pitch. Just a cut to my forehead and a dozen bruises and scraps. I'll survive. It's nothing that hasn't happened before. A day or so and I should be pretty good to go.
Plot Ideas?: -- Open to anything / fighting with his roommate / time with friends / struggle with being Captain, leading the Quidditch team, dating, etc., etc.
