Character Information - Personal

Name: Lucius Malfoy
Age/Birthdate: 17//February 2
Blood: Pure, thank you.
PB: Boyd Holbrook
Basic Personality: Lucius, basically, is a spoiled, rich boy who always gets what he wants. He's cunning and aggressive and oh-so manipulative. He can get most of what he wants with a single look, though some teachers (McGoogles, mainly) require a little sweet-talk. If he decides something should be his, by Merlin he's going to do whatever is in his power (which is basically anything, he thinks) to get it. He's under the impression that the rules don't apply to him, and most of the time he's absolutely correct. His last name holds a lot of weight within not just Hogwarts, but the whole wizarding world.

Lucius, in addition to being manipulative and aggressive, is also incredibly intelligent. He spends his time that should be used for his studies for practice as the seeker on the House team, or for generally being up to no good. His two cronies, Crabbe and Goyle are constantly at his side. They have been since they were all about five. Lucius is also a bit of a playboy, tending to take an interest in a girl for about two weeks and then discard of her once she's been of use to him. All in all, not a very nice person. Though, he does tend to stick by the people he thinks are worthy enough to be his friends. He's also incredibly loyal to his family.

History: When Lucius was born, the sky was an odd green color, something his parents believed could only be a good omen. He is an only child, and grew up as such. He had complete control of the Manor by the age of five, and no one in the house would have it any other way. His father died when he was about three, so Lucius doesn't remember him at all, nor does he ever really think about or have any emotion for his dead father. What happened happened, and Lucius knows he can't change the past.

Upon entering Hogwarts, Lucius was promptly sorted into Slytherin, of course. He wouldn't have had it any other way. The following year, he was very disappointed to see Narcissa sorted into Hufflepuff. Lucius quickly made a name for himself, and by his third year, everyone knew who he was and either respected him, or were frightened by him. In his fourth year, he received a letter from a man named Tom Riddle, propositioning him with promises of power and money. Lucius simply scoffed at the letter and sent a nice 'no thanks I'm already richer than the queen and more powerful too' letter in response. He received no further reply from Tom. Lucius never did figure out what Tom was really after from him.

Upon entering his sixth year, Lucius became Quidditch Captain and is on his way to leading his team to victory for the sixth year in a row. Lucius is quite excited for his sixth year to be over, because that means he simply has one more year to go, and then he'll be free. He thinks school is an awful bore.

Hobbies: Quidditch, stalking narcissa black, reading about all kinds of magic and practicing them.
Patronus: A stallion, because he likes to think he's incredibly strong and virile.
Boggart: What are you talking about? Lucius isn't afraid of anything. (Except cockroaches. but shh don't tell.)
Pet: None. Well, the manor has white peacocks surrounding it.

Character Information - School

Desired occupation: Lucius would like to someday be minister of magic. He knows he'll have to work his way up, though, so he'd like to start as an Auror.
House: Slytherin.
Classes: Charms, Herbology, Potions, Transfiguration, Defense Against the Dark Arts, History of Magic, Astronomy and Ancient Runes.

What if?

Has anything changed about your character?: Lucius does not become Tom Riddle's minion. Also, he becomes an Auror.
How do you feel that would affect his/her relationships?: He definitely won't become as evil as he was, though he still has a thirst for power. He won't associate with the same people. Perhaps he'll branch out.
Any future events that you would like to see and/or change from canon?: Uh, I would like him to have more kids. I mean...what? haha. Obviously I don't want him involved in any of that Dark Mark/Death Eaters stuff.

Additional Information: He doesn't completely hate everyone in the other houses. Even though Gryffindors suck (they always will) he tries his hardest to get along with them. He can't be minister of magic if he doesn't have the support of everyone.

Example Journal Entry:
[PRIVATE]

Sometimes, I hate people. Sometimes, people should never, ever speak ever again in their lives. No, honestly, I hate them. I don't know why I want to be Minister of Magic. I'd have to deal with whinging little arseholes all the time, and that is absolutely no fun at all. Why do I want to be Minister of Magic? That's ridiculous of me. I'm absolutely mad sometimes.

Example Roleplay Entry:

Lucius stepped into the dark, quiet corridor, his light footsteps barely echoing so late at night. He walked as quickly and as quietly as he could, not wanting to stir the portraits of his ancestors awake. He shouldn't have been doing this. He wasn't supposed to be here, wandering the corridors of the Manor, so late at night. If anyone caught him, they'd be sure to send him right back to school. It didn't matter how much power he had during the summers, when Lucius was away at school, it was his mother who called the shots.

He crept around a corner, making sure to stay out of sight of the library. The portrait of his Great Uncle Horatio was always awake. It never seemed to sleep, and he would surely scream for Lucius' mother. Lucius breathed a sigh of relief as he entered the living room safely. He took his wand and started a fire in the fire place, and then, with the quickest of movements, he threw the Floo Powder in and stepped through the threshold. "Black Manor," he whispered, and then he was gone in a flash of green light.
