"I'd have to say this is one of the best ideas that I've had," Anya said she watched the ribbons of green light dance around the night sky. She had been working night and day and Sarah had been really busy with the Avengers, leaving the two of the with little free time.
A little intervention was needed. So she grabbed the supplies they needed for this impromptu trip. A few thermoses of hot chocolate, chairs and arctic gear and grabbed Sarah. They headed to the North Slope of Alaska to watch the Aurora Borealis.
Sarah has pulled the occasional surprise to get Anya out of the lab, so its only fair to clear her schedule when a chance to spend some time together comes from the other direction.
"I don't know. You're full of good ideas. This definitely goes in the top ten though."
Sarah rolls over a little to kiss Anya's cheek. "Oh, I know. Its one of those secrets to keep a Stark happy. Cater to their ego now and then." she teases.
"Yeah... I suppose I can do the morning runs out on a beach. You can limit my gym time to however long you're at the spa. We might be able to come up with something."
"I think that might require Catholicism or something... but if he can manage to find both of us a week off, I think he qualifies as miracle worker, yes. Of course, as soon as he did, the Shi'ar would schedule that time to invade."
