Michael Blackwater sat on a motorcycle in the hills of Berkeley overlooking the San Francisco Bay. After years of being away, it was one of the best sights of his life. San Francisco was home long before he went to Arizona for a few years and met his father. Long before he started traveling the world with his mother. He was born in San Francisco and it would always be home.
He shoved the helmet shaped like an eagle's beak, a gift from his father, on his head and started the engine. He revved the engine and kicked it into gear. Dirt flew from under the back tire and he pulled onto the road to race down the hills and across the Bay Bridge to his home.

Abilities: Michael has abilities similar to those of his father.
Superhuman Strength: He can lift around 13 tons
Superhuman Speed: Strongbow can run and move at speeds greater than the finest human athlete. His speed is slightly less than that of the Cheetah, the fastest land animal on Earth, and can reach a top speed of 60 miles per hour.
Superhuman Stamina: Strongbow's heightened musculature produces less fatigue toxins during physical activity than an ordinary human. He can exert himself physically at peak capacity for approximately 4 hours.
Superhuman Durability: Strongbow's bodily tissues are somewhat harder and more resistant to physical injury than that of an ordinary human. However, he is far from invulnerable. While can be injured by weapons composed of conventional materials, he can withstand impact forces that would severely injure or kill a normal human with little to no injury to show for it.
Superhumanly Acute Senses: Like his namesake, the Eagle, he has hyperkeen eyesight, able to see at 800 feet what the average human being sees at 20 feet. His senses of smell, taste and hearing are approximately three times that of an average human being.
Weaknesses and flaws: Michael can be hurt and killed, it takes much more than would for a normal human.

Backstory:
Callie Blackwater was a grad student at UC Berkeley when a trip with a professor brought her to Arizona. She met Jason Strongbow while working at a site near a Navajo reservation. She was interested in any stories he could tell and after spending time together they became lovers. Callie returned to San Francisco and discovered she was pregnant. She didn't contact Jason and decided to raise the child on her own.
She earned her doctorate while raising Michael. Michael accompanied her wherever she went, her work taking her around the world. Michael didn't care too much for the books and history his mother loved, but he loved going to digs and exploring the surrounding area. He always loved being outdoors rather than being indoors or even in cities. He was always stronger, quicker and tougher than the other kids and didn't know why.
When he was sixteen his mother was killed while they were in Arizona not far from where his father lived.
Michael was going to return to San Francisco, but something called to him and he wandered out into the desert. After days of wandering in the desert he stumbled onto a Navajo reservation where he was found and taken to the village. He was nursed back to health and eventually met Jason Strongbow.
When Jason asked him his named and he heard the Blackwater name, he asked Michael if he were related to Callie. Michael told Jason about his mother and then Jason knew that Michael was his son. Jason informed Michael that he was his father and that Michael would now be living there with Jason and the Navajo people since his mother was dead and Michael was only sixteen.
Michael spent the next few years living on the reservation and learning about his father's people and getting to know his father. Michael learned that Jason was the costume hero named American Eagle and wanted to do some good in the world like his father had.
How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: He'll be joining the West Coast Avengers. He'll be returning to San Francisco for a bit and run into the team when they're battling some bad guys.
What are you planning to do with this character? West Coast Avengers stuff.
What do you want to see happen with this character?: Develop into a hero and discover more about his heritage.
