I can't remember having known a different pace HISTORY: From the very start it was clear to Avis and her family that she was destined to work with the Ministry of Magic. She developed an interest in the more easily measured fields of magic at a young age. When she found a Muggle textbook from her Father's high school career on Biology, her interest in the Muggle sciences was sparked. She became an encyclopedia of Chemical and Biological knowledge that she often applies to her conventional work at the Ministry.
PERSONALITY: Avis works. This is the one thing that most people will agree on about her: she works diligently and perhaps a little too much for what is considered a 'healthy work ethic'. She takes great pride in her job and the fact that she does it well. As a result, anyone who drifts by their job or uses it as a segway into a more 'serious' occupation gets on her nerves. She is fabulously high-strung and analytical at her worst - she has problems expressing her feelings to anyone but Katherine.

Wendy is many things that her older sister is not. She's outgoing and relatively unconcerned with the well-being of the people around her as long as they aren't putting a damper on her mood. At the best of times she and Avis share a love/hate relationship (although Avis seems to share this sort of relationship with the vast majority of people who know her) and at the worst of times they can't stand to be in the same room with each other. Where Avis takes everything seriously and weighs the consequences of an action before making a move, Wendy plows ahead with the best intentions (and sometimes the worst results). |
