What's up with this Tinkerbell movie I see commercials for?

Why is she being portrayed as sweet and nice? Or at least that's how it looks like she's being portrayed. Last I checked in Peter Pan she was a total bitch.

Stop lying to the children.

You also have to remember she was Pan's tiny whore fairy companion and she only acted like a bitch because she was jealous of Wendy. :P
