PERSONALITY: Caring, sweet and friendly is Hannah, but if you only think she is those three words you don't know the real Hannah very well. It is true that she is all those words, but it is not fair only to think of her with those, because the Hannah her friends and family knows is so much deeper and has so much more to give than only those three words. One very important thing that most people don't see in her, is her braveness at made her almost to be sorted into Gryffindor, but the kind heart of her got her into Hufflepuff instead. But she is very brave, she don't get a chance to show it that often though, but if there is something she sees that she think is very unfair and not right, she will walk up and say what she think. Bullies scare her but if there is someone in real trouble, she will try to make them stop with the word calling or other bullying. This is very strange though, because it goes totally against her other big side in her personality, which is her shyness, she is very sky, more than she is brave, but when it's something that gets her very angry she tend to forget how very sky she is, which is of course good in that very minute. Her shyness come forward when she is to speak in front of the class or a lot of people, sometimes even a big group of friends, she just like the all attention on her, it makes her very nervous that she will do something wrong any minute and make herself look like a fool, and that is the last thing she wants. She is usually a very different person outside of class and in it, in it she finds herself transform into this little quiet gray mouse, who tries not to be seen as much as possible, and outside of it she is normal Hannah, quite chatty and friendly and someone that take place, but not too much, but is at least in on the conversations and games.
But she is the one that like to be in on the fun, but like to stand in the background more and watch, more than being in the center of it all and have all people's eyes on her. She has always been more of the listener than the one that talks and make other people listen. Hannah has been called many times of her friends for the 'mommy' and for the 'adviser', just because she often acts like the one that take care a bit of them all, to one the worries and stay up with whoever is feeling sick at night or she is always there to listen to whoever have boyfriend or girlfriend trouble of her friends. Yes, she has become her friends shoulder to lean and cry on for real. But Hannah has nothing against, not at all, she made herself to take on that role and she holds on to it very hard, because she actually do enjoy giving other people advise if they need it, or a comforted word now and then when they are feeling down. Of course she can get tired of it sometimes, she is not after all super girl, and she can get tired of the same problems the same person have that she needs to listen to over and over again, but she tend to not say something and just listen, most of the times anyway. But truth is, like the true Hufflepuff she is, her friends mean a great deal to her and she tries to hold on to them as much as possible this last year of school together, because she know she might loose contact with a few when they leave, which makes her very sad.
No angel is she not though, Hannah can have a big temper if she so wants to, or if someone really gets to her until everything she bursts. Though when she gets angry it is often a mix of anger and sadness, so when she might be angry and throwing things around her, or shouting really loudly, tears usually runs down her cheeks at the same time. When she was little her father used to call her 'his little vixen', which can at some points be very true, when she gets angry she do get angry for real. Of course she do sulk as many girls do, but she is at least not someone who can sulk for days, she easily get over whatever made her angry, if it's not very big that is, and try to make everything right and back to normal if she can. As a prefect she has not very often used this though, since her shyness keep her from getting very mad at people doing wrong things, since she do not dare walk up to them if they are more than three and get all made and give them detentions. She give them detentions and take points if she really think they deserve it of course, but she do it in a very sky and friendly girly kind of way if they are more than three people, which of many people know about and take advantage of it and her as a prefect.
When it comes to boys and dating, Hannah has yet not had a boyfriend. She has kissed one boy in her life, in her sixth year and she got a kiss in the dark from someone she could not see, and a minute or so later it was over and the secret mystery boy flee his way and she never did find out who kissed her when she was walking down a corridor on prefect duties. Maybe she should have been afraid and screamed at someone coming out of no where to give her a kiss and then he just ran off, but she actually didn't. It had been such a gentle and soft kiss, and Hannah had felt the warm and tingling feeling in her stomach, and it had been just great, and it had always felt quite romantic to be kissed by a mystery man, she could after that just fantasize about who it could be, and usually it is about different boys in school, and some celebrity now and then. But lately it has been a lot about one special boy in her house, she's not sure it's a crush, of if it is how big it is, but she she does think he's cute, that is for sure. Hannah has never felt very nervous or shy around boys, she has many as her friends, but if it is a very attractive boy or someone she likes, or someone with a little less clothes on, she blush as a tomato and get very nervous and shy around them, but it is not too often it happens.
Last year when her mother died very tragically killed by a death eater, she found out when she was in the middle of Transfiguration class that she had to go up to the Headmaster. All the way up there Hannah thought it must be about someone else that she was going to sit beside as they got the news of their parents or other loved ones being hurt in any way, or worse killed. It wasn't until she was outside of the Headmaster's door up to his tower room, that she realized that this was not about someone else, but about her, and it must be someone to her that was dead or hurt. She got the news and at first there was no tears what so ever on her cheeks, but after a while the shock began to fade away and then they came, the tears, and a lot of them, and she was able to stop them for days it seemed. She was sent home the next day after she had tried to sleep some and eaten, and spent all the day with her just as shocked and sad father. The death of her mother was the worse thing she ever felt, and yet today she is not over the death of her mother, who she still misses a whole of a lot of course.
She loves to bake and cook, that has always been one of the things that makes her happy to do. Books has also always been something she enjoys, romantic novels are her favorites and she can be a real girl, who sits curl up in a big armchair with a hot cup of cocoa and with a napkin while reading her romantic novels, she can very easily be moved to tears. Her boggart is a big fire that will just get bigger and bigger and will be impossible to put out, and that will leave her no way to go. Fire is a big fair of hers ever since her uncle got badly burnt in a fire when she a little girl staying over at their house and she woke up with the house full of smoke and her aunt getting her out, but her uncle was still in the burning house and she could hear him scream in pain, but at last he came out, he did survive but was very badly eaten by the fire and is still at St:Mungos and being treated years after the big fire that burnt him so badly. Hannah's patronos is a duck, she has no idea why, but she really like to think, as the romantic person she is from reading all those romantic novels, that her boggart will turn into a beautiful swan one day just like her. Because truth is, Hannah doesn't have the best self confident, but not the worse either, she really doesn't think too much about or talk about for that matter, but she is starting to doubt that she will ever get the romantic knight she is so highly dreaming about to get. All of that makes her cry of course many nights in her loneliness, because she is a good listen to other's problems, but not a very good sharer with her owns, those that she bottle up inside of her all day long and then cry about with a silencing charm up in her bed at night.
HISTORY: Hannah Brooke Abbott was born on a spring morning as the sun was just about to raise on it's blue sky making it pink, into the family of two very loving but hard working parents, Karen Abbott and John Abbott. Her parents had met in a very young age at Hogwarts, where they were not in neither the same house or year, but John was in Ravenclaw and Karen in Hufflepuff two years over her future husband. For a while as they still carried on dating after Hogwarts, their parents were quite shocked with the fact that John was the two year younger one, and John's parents strongly disliked it for a long while, and refusing to even come to the wedding as they married two years later after John left Hogwarts. But at last in the last minute they came there anyway, and accepted Karen's new husband into their family, two years too young and all. They had planned to work for many years before getting any kids, but after just one year of marriage, Karen got pregnant with Hannah and even if they should have been disappointed that it hadn't worked out as they wanted it do, they were very happy to get a little kid that they had together and always would have. Hannah was their first and only child, but there was no spoiling even if she was, she was told from a start that she had to work for whatever she wanted, and that was she brought with her as she grew older and started school herself. Hannah meant very much to her parents, they used to get her into bed together at nights, because even if they were very busy parents through all of her childhood, they always said goodnight to her together, kissed her forehead and told her she was their little treasure in life, and with those word she always fell a sleep. Until of course that ended with her started school, but then she started to soon get used to that life instead.
Her childhood had been good and calm, and she had always had the kids next door to play with, and she was used to cook for herself if her parents didn't make it home in time for work, because both of them had gone back to their jobs, which left Hannah to be home during the days with the nice old lady next door. But when she did turn eleven and her letter came from Hogwarts she could not be happier, the old lady next door sure was nice, but it was pretty boring for a eleven year old girl to be there all days. So with excitement she went off to school, and on the train there it didn't take long until she was had a few friends, that would end up in her own house a few of them anyway. When she put the sorting hat on her head, it was discussing whether it should put her in Hufflepuff or Gryffindor, but at least her big heart was bigger than her bravery, and she got sorted into Hufflepuff, where she loved it from a start. But even if she got many friends in her own house and a few in both Ravenclaw and Gryffindor, the Slytherin kids gave her a hard time from start, just because she was quite chubby when she was younger, and she was called many mean words for a while, until she grew up a bit more when she began her third year and she was no longer the chubby girl that all the Slytherin loved to tease when they were bored in class or something like that.
When she started her fifth year she got a owl home that she was Hufflepuff's new perfect together with Ernie Macmillan. Hannah thought it was very nervous in the beginning and it was very hard for her to walk up to someone and give them detention or take points from a start, still is when it's big groups, but now she can at least give it usually as she is suppose to do, and if there is someone she do not wish to give to because this person scares her for some reason, she tell someone of her prefect friends, mostly Ernie, if he could do it for her. But Hannah has always liked rules and try to keep it how things should be, quiet in the library and no candy wrappers on the floors in the corridors, and everyone in bed after curfew. Hannah has never been scared of the dark, but she always thought it was scary to go the rounds after curfew too look that everyone is in their beds, so she tried to always walk with someone else, but when she couldn't and they needed to split up and go different ways, she was always scared and shaky to go alone. But then one night from the dark someone came up and gave her a kiss, shocked of course, but not scared at all, she got used to the after curfew rounds in the dark alone and she always did hope that the mystery boy that kissed her that night would come back, as a knight on horse and get her up in his arms and give a hundred more of those kisses he had given her before. But of course that never happened, and she never really told anyone about it, just the girls in her dorm, her close friends, but still two years later today, she deep down always hoped it will happen again and he is left at Hogwarts and will soon at least ask her out on a date or something.
In her sixth year something very horrible happened, the death eaters were all over the Wizarding world and her mother that was at work at the Ministry, when the death eaters too over the Ministry and she was now suppose to be hurt at all, there are a few stories on how she was killed, but no one knows for sure how it really did happened. All that is known is that they found her in the corridor outside of her office hit by the killing curse, next to her co-worker who was also killed by the same curse. A few of her surviving co-workers told the Abbott family many different stories, and yet today Hannah has no idea what really did happened. One story was that she was mistaken to be a muggleborn because she refused to tell them what her blood really was, and she was killed together with her real muggleborn co-worker. Another story was that she did tell them she was pureblooded, but when they told them they were going to take her co-worker friend with them, she refuse to let them take her and she went into their way and the death eaters got angry and shoot them both with the killing curse. The fact that they have no idea what really happened is killing Hannah almost more than having her mother dead, even if that is a a very big lost. A young girl only in the age of sixteen need her mother and when she was so early taken away from her, she was crushed for months after it, and she was sent home and was away from school for around a month and a half, then she went back and had a few horrible hard weeks back, but her friends helped her make it a bit better for her.
One year later and Hannah still misses her mother of course, but her father and her has gotten closer than before, and she still wait for that knight in shiny armor as she being a romantic person she still is and all. But as her quite low self confident tells her, she is not sure if she will ever find a boyfriend, that she deeply wants, but never talks about or try to look for so other people will notice, she is sure that they will laugh at her then, for being so silly at believing on a thing as a knight in shiny armor, and fairytale type of guy. So she keep it all to herself, and hopes for that prince to come somehow and sometime to her.
