Brief History:
Both Floyd Thatcher and Alva Wheelock were born near Rockhill, South Carolina. On the Catawba Indian Nation reservation to be exact, and spent most of their younger years in life there. It was there they met, fell in love and were married, but it was after they had their first and only child that they decided to venture off of the reservation in search of making a better life for themselves. Soon after Wren's first birthday they moved to Knoxville, Tennessee with the help of Alva's brother that moved there quite a few years before. Their parents didn't exactly approve of this, but all parties involved have stayed in touch to this day.

Neither of her parents had any fancy degrees, and so her father picked up a job as a janitor at a local manufacturing plant, and her mother worked as a waitress at a diner not too far from their small home. It wasn't the most fanciful of upbringings, but the Thatcher's were never lacking in anything. While Floyd and Alva were off at work Wren was watched by her Uncle William, and it was he who first noticed her singing voice. What started out as her singing nursery rhymes and the few ceremonial songs her parents had passed on to entertain herself, soon turned to her singing whenever company was over... or really any chance she got.

Even though she is aware of her heritage, her parents never spent much time informing her of all that they had learned in their lifetimes. They didn't view their time spent on the reservation as a burden, but did feel it alienated them from the outside world. Not wanting to cut short any of the chances at life their daughter had, they choose not to bestow upon her much of the culture they'd been brought up in. Most - if not all - of the information Wren's picked up about her ancestors has been from history books and the time spent with her grandparents on trips to the reservation, which were quite far and few between.

While still in high school she was offered a scholarship at a small liberal arts college. By now being paraded around for her singing ability was nothing new to her, and she readily took the offer. Upon completion of her degree, she took a job at a nearby elementary school as a chorus teacher, and taught vocal lessons during the summer. She liked her job, she really did, but when she was offered a position at a high school in South Carolina, she jumped at the chance. She was to be the chorus teacher at Wando High School for the 2008-2009 school year, but couldn't help but moving there a bit early.

She arrived at the beginning of summer, and acquainted herself with her new surroundings fairly easily. The small island she moved onto seemed rather nice, as did the people, and it wasn't long before she felt validation. Even though her parents had always wanted the best for her, and she hadn't moved too extremely far away, they didn't see why she couldn't have just continued to teach at the elementary school back in Knoxville. Whether or not they felt this was the right thing for her to do, Wren knew that she had made the right decision. At least until something peculiar started to happen.

Half-way through the first quarter of the school year, she had a series of dreams in which she awoke to find her bed floating quite a few feet off of the ground. At first she tried to play it off as her mind playing tricks on her, but has since realized that she can do much more. Of course, she hasn't quite gotten a complete grasp on it yet, she's getting considerably better. Now if only she could figure out how she came about this ability... that'd be one less question to answer.

Brief Description of Power Capabilities:
Telekinesis. She moves shit with her mind. It's 5 am, that's all you're getting right now. Deal with it!

She has moderate control of her telekinesis, but at this time it's still not entirely dependable. Small things she's fine with, but anything of considerable weight is still a struggle. Wren tends to get nosebleeds when she overexerts herself.
