Galactus and the Power Gem
Before, there was too much sudden shock and death to think much. Now, Sarah has a lot of space aboard the Shi'ar flagship. Most of the Imperial Guard has been sent to comb other corners of the galaxy, but Adam Warlock and Lilandra alike seemed fairly certain that Galactus would know something, or possibly have been somewhere the Surfer would consider 'safe' for a gem. The down side is, Galactus has not always been the most helpful of beings.
She stands on the bridge, staring out into space, and trying hard to force herself to look ahead, instead of back.

	Help comes in many forms, and some of them are double-edged and concerned with personal agendas. Lilandra was one of them. She was putting a lot of faith and resources into this particular basket and she had no intention of failing. She regarded the young Exile with consideration. The girl seemed far too preoccupied with things other than the mission at hand. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	"The latest reports tell me that Galactus is currently working on preventing Thanos from reaching his goal, though the situation may change from one day to the next. 	Outside the ship a battle between Hela's forces and Galactus' forces raged. Heralds fought to defend Galactus and legions of the undead fought to destroy him and take the gem. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Sarah heads for the airlock, calling into ship coms as she goes. "I'll buy you all the time I can out here. Keep your bodyguard with you - there's defenses inside too... especially the Cat. 	Skurge was at the front of the undead legions. He yelled at them to move forward to take on the heralds. Skurge saw the woman charging toward him and yelled before charging forward. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	This was familiar to Skurge. All too familiar. He brought his axe up at the last moment and deflected most of the blow from the hammer. It still hit hard enough to make his grip on the axe slip. Instead of attacking, he had to use the moment to get a firmer grip on his axe. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Unlike Thor, Sarah doesn't need the hammer to fly. She rushes ahead full speed, catching the hammer mid-flight. She tries to smash the shield into the head of the axe to keep him from bringing it to bear on her, while aiming a hammerblow at his gut. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
