To Rescue the Sea Queen
Cait had finally come out of her funk over losing Koryak to start thinking again. She knew what she had to do. First, rescue her mother. She would not let her mother sit in a prison cell any longer. Once her mother was free, then it would be time to go find her father. As much as she didn't want anything to do with Atlantis, she would take care of her family. Atlantis would be their concern.

Cait put on her uniform.

It was time for some action.

Dinah had spent the better part of an afternoon getting the Bug ready for aquatic action. True, there was the T-Jet, but the Bug was already designed to function in a submerged environment and just needed a run down of its pressure seals and some reinforced plating.

It had the advantage, too, of manipulator arms and weapons the T-Jet did not. And it still had more than enough internal space for their needs.

	Vic had been staying with the Titans since they had been nice enough to invite him to stay. He had been staying out of their way not wanting to really get in their way. Steve, too, was meditating out of the way. He prepared his mind for what was surely to come. He wore a costume that was duplicated from his father's old costume.

I figured AJ and I can cause a distraction outside while the rest of you rescue Queen Mera. 	Cait, AJ and Steve were dropped off at the surface about a half a mile outside Poseidonis. They were the distraction. Once Cait was in the water, she reached out with her telepathy and called for some support. (Reply to this)(Thread)

The moment Steve was dropped off, he created his own support. He created a submarine-sized whale to act as his transport and defense underwater. The second creature he created was an over-sized eel (which was the length of his body and the width of his arm). Both creatures were dark purple with a green glow.

"I am ready. If you need me, approach the whale and I will let you in."

	Cait nodded. "Remember, we're just a distraction. Soldiers will come out and they will fight. Use whatever force is necessary to protect yourself." With that, Cait moved forward toward the city. Steve took residence inside of his whale and submerged. He linked his sight with the whale's, and commanded the eel to stay with them while they waited for the soldiers to come.

Inside Poseidonis

Poseidonis was a large, very old city. The original builders had constructed tunnels under the city. To most residents of the city this fact was unknown, but the royal family knew which meant the Titans knew.

The entrance to the tunnels was exactly where Cait said it was. She had given them directions on navigating the tunnels to bring them out closest to the prison where she figured Mera was being held.

The exit to the tunnels came out in a building across the way from the prison.

Dinah was a competent enough swimmer (she'd been trained to be pretty dang good at just about anything), but she hoped it was enough. Especially with an oxygen tank and air helmet slowing her down.

She looked to the other Titans with her, Vic and Iris. Iris's speed was still great, of course, but diminished in usefulness underwater. And Vic didn't have any powers, not unlike herself.

"Okay," she said, over the helmets' radio frequency. "We need to do this as sneaky as we can. And remember, if we get into a fight, think in three-dimensions, not two. Watch above and below just as much as to the sides."

	This was very different being in a breathing apparatus but Vic felt confident with his swimming abilities. Though he couldn’t fight as he normally did and felt stealth attacked would without a doubt be their best option. “OK,” he said. He always fought thinking in three-dimensions anyways but would definitely be keeping his eyes open. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	This close, Dinah could operate at least some of the Bug's features by remote control. With the Titans and super-folk like Mera in its database, she gave it directions to turn its microwave beams--on non-lethal settings, of course--on anything that wasn't them. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
