If you're taking this as seriously as you should be, there shouldn't be any decision involved at all.

We're supposed to marry a pureblooded man, and provide him with children, and arrange dinners, and get treated like you're this strange woman who lives under the same roof that he has no idea what he's supposed to do with other than get you pregnant because a girl just won't do and-----

Kalista--~~auugh~~ I loved your brother more than anything. If he were still-- I wouldn't mind being pushed into marriage. After everything happened and Donovan came along, I was so jaded. I didn't understand or care what it was or wasn't and just wished to forget everything else and if a marriage to a man I didn't know was the way to make that happen, then the sooner the better.

When he left me for that ~~mudblood~~ woman, I was already ruined. But being ruined made me realize how fucked up everything is--and meeting Ca him, I was finally shown a hint of an idea that there was a world I wasn't completely dead to. He's so unlike Evan, but they have one thing in common, and that's that I don't feel like I have to be persuaded to love them. I don't feel like I'm owned.

I'm sorry I've chosen to make my life better than you've been able to make yours. Whether we hate each other or not, I really am sorry for that.

	Whatever it makes us now, what's done is done. He's not coming back, and I'm just trying to salvage what's left of myself. Maybe it would do you some good to learn my lesson and realize that you have a choice too. Until then, I suppose we have nothing more to talk about. (Reply to this)(Parent)
