The Serpent Awakes
Kazama Goda, foreman of the construction crew, oversaw the removal of the debris left in the wake of the dragon attack. All the damn monsters..he was seriously considering moving. Maybe to South Korea, he had family there on his uncle's side,

"Goda-san, you've got to see this!"

"What is it?" Goda asked, annoyed.

"I don't know, I think it's a dinosaur fossil!"

Officially intrigued, Kazuma went over to where it looked like a partially unburied, reptilian skull.

"Kami," he gasped, moving toward it.The attack must have uncovered it. It was magnificient, he thought, mesmerized and moving toward it.

"Goda-san?" one of the workers called.

He didn't hear it. He reached out and touched the skull..and Kazuma Goda vanished in a wave of primal power. A burst of energy enveloped the body, practically exploding with raw energy. It mutated and shifted, scales forming and muscles shifting as the body transformed in mid-air. Some of the workers fled, others seemed transfixed by what was happening. Finally it stopped as he majestically floated back to the ground, eyes closed.

"Kazuma?" One of the braver workers asked.

The eyes opened, yellow with slitted pupils.

"No," and a burst of lightning sends the man flying into a group of his colleagues. "Finally...flesh..blood. It is not much, but it is a start." He turns in the direction of a strong pulse. "Yes, merely the beginning." And he casually walks in the direction of the signal, energy crackling the ground as his feet touched.

Kayura had been fixing herself a fresh pot of tea to take with her to her office. There's a sudden feeling of wrong wrong wrong and she just barely manages to stop the tea from spilling all over the place.

She takes a moment to compose herself as she cleans up. Then she decides to go see if something is actually going on. She just has an intense WRONG feeling pounding in her ears right now.

Apparently no tea for her!

	He glanced at how humanity had changed since he'd been gone. It was odd, but not worth thinking about too much. The weaponry and armor appeared different. The local lord's soldiers were using slug-based weaponry and seemed to have given up on swords entirely. He merely raised a hand, the bullets unable to pass through the air, dropping to the ground. 	Kayura is in her full armor. She has no other options really when it comes to combat. And she looks very grim right now. She can feel just how wrong that man is and she doesn't think they will be able to do anything with just words. "Then we shall do our best to contain the.... situation, Amiko-san." 	Hajime relates the legend, watching for reactions to various parts of it. The story wouldn't be hard to find, so he sees no point in hiding anything or leaving anything out. He might even be able to glean something here. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
