You know how sometimes people on your friends list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? Since when are they dating HIM/HER? Since when?" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

5. Partner: My husband Chris. Ho yeah, I'm married.

6. Kids: Does a cat count? Otherwise, no.

7. Brothers/Sisters: I have two younger sisters, one who's an upcoming junior and one that's an upcoming eighth grader.

8. Pets: I have a sweet little kitty butterball named Shadow. She can be a handful sometimes when she gets the zoomies, but she's an extremely affectionate cat.

9. List the 3-5 biggest things going on in your life:

1) I'm moving out of my teeny apartment into a house of our very own in seven days!
2) I'm freelance editing and writing. Yeah, I get to write reviews, too. It's pretty cool, and I can crank it all out in my pajamas.
3) My best girlfriend is coming down to the 'burg in August! :D

10. What did you go to school for? SLOWWWWWWWWLYYYYY chipping away at school for an English or Journalism degree. When I have it, I'll probably be old, the way I'm going at it.

11. Parents: My mom's currently fighting cancer (CANCER SUCKS BALLS) and is a quirky, Libertarian-leaning Southern woman with Southern sensibilities and an open mind. My dad's what you'd call "a good ol' boy" and likes gardening, grilling and Southern rock music.

12. Close Friends: It's awesome living with my best friend, my husband. My best girl friends are Brittany and Jamie, who live in my hometown of Richmond, VA.
