Sarah!
Berkeley knocked furiously on Sarah’s door. He hated that she was right, going home had been a terrible idea. Especially since he left on terrible terms with his mother. And unlike Sarah, she knew where he lived and could follow him. Which she did! He came home to find her standing there chatting up his super. All smiles and pleasantries like nothing had happened. Claimed that she just had to come over and check up on him. In other words she wanted to make sure that he had made the 'right' decision. Which as far as Berkeley was concerned was no longer any of her business.

She was currently in his apartement probably cleaning because ‘it was atrocious’ and how did. Berk had begged off claiming that he needed to go get groceries if she was going to be staying. He headed for Sarah’s the moment he was out of the house. “Sarah! Let me in. This is urgent! Super urgent!” he called through door. What was she doing? What on earth could be more important at this moment? Granted he had never got around to telling exactly what happened when he went home to visit. Of course she knew something was up, but he hoped that it would just turn in one of those things they didn't speak about. “Saraaah!”

The door flung open and Sarah, who was more than halfway done with this pregnancy in both the literal and mental sense, glared hard at her brother.

"You don't bang and knock and yell at the door of a pregnant woman who cannot easily get up out of her chair when you are not in mortal danger or on fire!" Sarah exclaimed, looking her brother up and down. She was still a bit irritated with Berk, but at least he was in England and not across the world ignoring his unborn child. If she wasn't pregnant, if she hadn't just been thrust into the world of physical motherhood, she may have been more accepting of her brother's panic (especially since Dexter was too analytical or whatever to seem concerned). It was better now, and that was good. But she was still annoyed that he'd made her get up.

"You are not on fire," Sarah snipped, her hand pressed hard to her lower back as it had been quite difficult to stand up. Pregnancy was not an easy thing to learn how to deal with, and Brier better be bringing home that red velvet ice cream she'd whined for last night to make up for all this discomfort.

Somehow, Berk kept forgetting that his sister was pregnant and took just a bit longer to move about, so perhaps he completely deserved that glare she was giving him. But this was urgent. Not 'I'm on fire' level, but important none the less.

"Mortal danger." he said quickly, since it was the option Sarah had given him. And honestly if he was left alone with his mother much longer, someone would be in mortal danger. "Mom is here, well no not here in London, but in Ireland, cleaning my flat but close enough that there is no longer an ocean separating us and I need to hide." He slipped past her letting himself inside her place. He figetted around her living room while he waited for her to process what he said, god he needed a drink.

"I can not deal with her right now, so you need to tell me how to get her to leave."

Sarah whirled around, eyes----she hadn't blinked this entire time, she hadn't taken a breath, she---she was going to go into labor because of this. Sarah wasn't sure how her water hadn't just gone and broke because the idea that her mother was in Ireland, which was just a mere floo ride away from this lovely flat of hers in London, it----she---

"This cannot be happening!" she let out in a shriek, putting her hands to her head. Her heart was beating madly, this was---not good, this meant---if her mother had found Berk's flat then it was easy enough for an owl to head to her father and have him come here and she'd already escaped him once this---this---

"How----could----this----happen?" Sarah screamed, shutting the door behind her and locking all the locks manually, forgetting that the most important wards would be done with her wand and where was Brier with her ice cream?

Berk instantly threw his hands up in surrender. "This is not my fault!" he said backing away from her slightly. Never had he been more glad that his place was completely muggle, the closest floo connection blocks away. Which he conveniently forgot to leave directions to so, oops, looked like mother dearest was just stuck there until he decided to return or she decided to go home.

"I don't even know why she came! I thought I made it very clear when I left I didn't want her help anymore. Isn't just up and leaving an indication to 'I don't want to see you anymore' not 'hey how about you just randomly show up for a visit'." He sunk down onto her couch rubbing his hands over his face. At least she was smart enough not to bring Mark with her. Berkeley was liable to just up and punch him in the face for the remarks he made as he was packing when his mother wasn't around.
