Who: Delilah and Axe Rupert
What: Random chat...
When: Um...a couple days ago?
Where: Outside the Kestral locker room.

Delilah didn’t much like hanging around Quidditch pitches. Especially when they were empty and there was nothing do. Last time she was left to her own devices in one, she went exploring, but that was the Magpie Pitch, which she hadn’t seen before. Kestrals pitch was even more so boring because it was Charlies’ pitch and she'd been here multiple times and it was more and more less interesting each visit.

But she had just gotten back from her competition in Spain, which went fabulously, thank you very much, and now she was coming to kidnapped Charlie so the could go celebrate since he couldn’t make it to watch this time, as he was busy with being Captain for another week. Which was great for him, yay and all, but it really sucked when she couldn’t drag him along to her events.

So that is why she was sitting on a bench outside of the locker room twirling her wand between her fingers. Practice should be over any minute and then she could take Charlie and they could go out and celebrate her Spanish win over margarita’s.

Seriously though, how long did it take for guys to change. Even Delilah was quicker than this.

Maybe Axe was being a bit of a tyrant. But he'd just come back! And, as he'd always known and had definitely planned (save for the flip of the coin business), Spinnet had proven himself to be startlingly good in a capacity for commanding, so he had to be certain that his team respected Axe's authority when he returned.

Also the fact that they had all but kissed the ground upon his return and Spinnet's subsequent hanging up of captaincy, and Axe wanted them to remember that forever. Giving his now-dry hair a good fluff, he sauntered out of the locker room after a double practice (maybe his captain-in-stead had had a few ideas worth keeping, if only to make up for such a length of time where he was unable to torment his Kestrels) with enough energy that it seemed he hadn't been on the field at all.

"La petite Spinnet," he greeted with a casual lift of the brow.

Delilah kicked her legs growing more and more bored with each passing moment. She was just about to give up and leave when she heard a voice. And not the one she was hoping to hear. French. Eh. This would be entertaining at the very least.

“Rupert.” she greeted with a grin. “Did you enjoy your impromptu vacation?”

Okay, poking fun probably wasn’t the best idea ever, as Delilah was pretty sure that it was quite possible this guy was along the lines of crazy (or just french, whatever) from stories she heard from Charlie. But again, she was bored and had been waiting for nearly half an hour and it was most likely this guys fault anyways.

He sighed lustily. "Always the pest, Diana," maybe he truly couldn't keep her name straight…, "aren't we?" Axe's shrug was exaggeratedly Gallic as he brushed off her comment. "I am in far too good a mood to trifle with you, however. I'd thought you'd be happier, what with you being introduced to your future mother-in-law so recently, and such."
“Delilah” she corrected automatically, one day he was going to run out of names that began with D that weren’t hers, and accidentally get it right. She kept smiling, although now it was more of a ‘I’m smiling because other wise I’d want to hit you’ sort of smile. “I don’t know what you are talking about, I’m in a fabulous mood.”

Delilah would absolutely love to have Bethany McCormack as her mother-in-law, and most of it had nothing to with Thomas at all. if she was completely honest. She learned so much in just the one afternoon, imagine what she could learn if she was actually a part of the family, but that was besides the point.

“Ah yes, I forgot that was leaked to the Tattler.” She said with a exaggerated sigh, sarcasm dripping from her tone. Then she paused and looked at him as if something just occurred to her. “Wait. Does that mean you’re going to try and sleep with me now? I hear you like girls wearing the McCormack engagement ring.”

No, if he'd known her train of thought, he would have told her quite confidently that he had an infinite repertoire of D names at his disposal.

He was annoyed, of course, at the mention of The Exercise In Lack of Judgment And It's Repercussions, or for brevity's sake, la salope folle. If he'd known the stupid witch was engaged, he'd have thought twice about jumping into bed with her, particularly if he'd known it was to McCormack… although he wasn't so surprised after all she was looking to hop onto the first real man that crossed her path. But, speaking quite frankly, he had bigger curses to ward off.

So, with a snort, he made a show of her unadorned hand and said, "Unsurprisingly, I see no ring. Your virtue is amazingly safe from me at the moment."

“Oh thank god for that.” Delilah said with a laugh as she stood up. “Anyways since you are out here now, I’m assuming that you are done tormenting your team for the day. So I’m just gonna go kidnap my brother now. See ya.”

She waved her fingers in farewell as she made her way to just go into the locker room and make Charlie hurry up.
