Robots attack!
The JLI had a little downtime, but it wasn't going to last. Explosions went off outside and the ground shook. When the JLI go outside they would see giant robots attacking. Two of their members were missing.

Xian ran out in his armored form.

"This is ridiculous!" He was becoming thoroughly and utterly..what was the emotion. A powerful mix between annoyance, anger, and perhaps some indignity. This was not the sort of thing he expected to deal with upon being attached to this team.

The robots continued to fire at people, buildings and anything else that moved. A few fired at Lizzy as she made the biggest target.

Xian didn't have Lizzy's size, but his armored form still had considerable power to it as he swung at the robots' legs, attempting to bring them down lower.

Barbie tried to work on getting people to safety. It was going as expected.

"Don't see her. I'm also noting this isn't being solved via lanterning!" Barbie calls over. It had still been on her mind.

The robot's were made of a durable metal, but the one started to crumple under Lizzy's grip. The one Xian took a swing out stumbled and started to fall.

Pippi glances around. She stands up, stretches out a little, and walks the perimeter. She touches the walls a bit, investigating closely. A look up, a glance down.

Then, with all suitable sagacity, "We're in a room."

"That's not a good idea. Someone put a lot of work into that door. That kind of blending is hard to do. I bet it would cost them a bunch to replace."

Dex stopped and turned to look at her. Dex would never think of himself as smart or intelligent, but even he didn't understand Pippi.

He shook his head and went back to trying to break the door down.

A beat, staring back at him as if this is just obvious. "Its just not open right now."

Dex didn't know what exactly to make out of all of that. He just...yeah. He needed to focus on breaking down the door. Since his hands and body weren't making it budge, he stepped back and tried to use his ring.

Dex was only half paying attention to what Pippi was saying. Listening closer would just confuse him more. He continued to work at breaking down the door.
